The Floor Lamp 2 endlessly impresses with its vast array of pre-set lighting patterns and is well worth the investment. Build quality is also great and assembles in minutes with little fuss. If your on the fence, I recommend you don't hesitate and just hit that buy button. The lamp is an instant mood setter with endless themes and colour palletes to cycle through, all controlled through an easy to use companion app. I absolutely love mine and do plan on adding to it with more of Govee's awesome looking lighting products. A definite 10 out of 10!

Excited to get this and try outBut dissapointingly, doesn't work so well for us as our TV is sited infront of an unused fire with wood surround. All the YouTube reviews show set-ups in front of large plain, light coloured backgrounds, or very specila set-ups just for the review. Unless you have this kind of plain, light coloured reflective background, it just won't work that well. This applied to the music mode too. The other issue we've found is that it is biased towards strong red, e.g. when a persons face is large on the TV screen the flow lights show red. This issue has been reported in other reviews. For us and our particular situation, it works better when the light colour is fixed. In hindsight we would have been better off buying Govee stick-on TV backlights

Would expect better quality for the price, but still ok. Not the easiest to set up following the manual, some steps are missing (like remove the film from the camera lens before calibration). Additionally, the main purpose of the bars we bought with the camera is to follow the picture on the monitor. Works with some videos, but not all. And where works, is very slow to respond to the colours on the screen. Needs playing around in the app for an hour or so to make it somewhat usable.This is very surprising considering Govee's reputation, but this is my experience.
The lights are great and can really upgrade one's TV watching experience. The app could add some basic features to the lights however, such as automatic scheduling (e.g. based on sunrise and sunset) and some additional voice commands would help.At the moment you can only turn on and off the lights but you cannot specify the mode they go in to.The app is feature rich but it can be a bit too complicated. I understand you use to control all Govee lights but for the more simple uses it can be hard to navigate.The ability to customise the video mode is also needed. e.g. the ability to set the threshold at which they go off as they still stay on very slightly when the screen goes black.
I’ve not bought any Govee products till now and this Lamo was a shock in a good way. Love the app, the light is mega bright but you can alter brightness all the way down to 1%.The speaker is loud even on 15% it’s high enough so it’s definitely got an oomph about it.Only thing missing is I can’t use apple homekit with it yet. Hopefully matter support comes in an update over the air.
I MUST SAY….. after alot of thought I have treated myself to this Flow pro light bars from Govee .. it’s 2 lightweight bars and a camera .. the bars you can either stand these in the stands that come with the kit or put them on the brackets for you to easily stick to back of your tv.. “decide carefully where your positioning them because the stickies on the brackets are strong” ..n won’t come off !! .. The camera what sticks to either the Top or Bottom of your tv.. mine is at the top because it would be covering the remote control signal, there are also helpful tips videos and images either in the govee app or you tube or you can just Google other tips with camera positioning.. this kit is designed to work best for smaller tv’s and they don’t even need to be a ... Friendly .. advice .. tips .. modes what you can just click apply and instantly save !!.. there’s so much useful information to guide you if you aren’t sure .... When there are new updates they send them through the app, with new things to do you can enjoy..!!.. I’m so annoyed with myself when I think of all the money I’ve have wasted buying different led tv light strips which have failed to do as described ..in my opinion I never expected so much enjoyment in a little box !!… Unless your prepared to pay out hundreds of Pounds.!! ..Even Customer Services Department Amazing …as I experienced a little problem with my equipment.. I contacted the Govee Customer Support Team.. and received a reply straight away!!.. can I just say a BIG Thank you to “CHLOE” !! From the Customer Assistance Team… !!…. Chloe has been Absolutely Brilliant from the start ..she Instantly updated me every step of the way and my Problem was sorted almost immediately.. Ok so I own a lot of Govee products now and I was a little dubious about this one! Is it going to be the same as before just with a little speaker in? No it certainly is not. The light is far better, brighter and reactive with even more themes. But what really makes it stand apart from anything else on the market is the speaker, the quality is excellent, I would go as far as to say as good as one of my other expensive branded speakers beginning with an S. Well worth the money and a great product would certtainly recommend
This is how modern lighting should be done. The shear number of options of colour, combinations and effects on offer is almost too much at first. The colour volume from the lights is the brightest I have yet seen from a smart colour light. The cost is not as astronomical as some of the competitors. In fact I would say fair value for what's on offer. Hopefully govee can make a white version as well, I would buy them in a heartbeat
I'm a Philips smart bulb user but man are they expensive. And they have a movie light set up that is in the hundreds. I came across these lights and with some reluctance I bought these. The reviews werw positive but how good could they be?I stand corrected! There's no way these cost as mettle as they did but bring so much entertainment to my movie watching. They came with ways to either sit in a stand or stick em to the back of your TV. Which I ended up doing and that adhesive WORKS! I don't think it will be a problem to remove either. Very bright and vivid and the saturation to these are phenomenal! My boys have used them when they game and they sync just fine. Movie watching is def dope!
