New boots just as comfortable as previous Grafter boots. Very supportive whilst walking

Bought his on this site about 8 weeks ago. Boot is sturdy, good quality and looked fit for purpose. Full leather so I presume waterproof - had no issues so far and plenty of rain. Initially leather around ankles is a bit stiff and can run, but this wore off after a couple of weeks. Now feel really comfortable, light and warm (may be an issue if summer is hot. Always had Magnums prior to this, but so far I don't think i'd go back...

Warm, comfortable, light weight and waterproof. Tried many makes of this type of boot. They all seem to go on the sides. Where rubber meets leather. This is my second pair. First lasted 7 months. (I do live in them) Lowa equivalent 10 -11 months but 2/3 times price. Magnum elite 2 months. Bates 8 months. Lowa mountain GTX 2years.

This is the second pair of these boots I've had as I wear them for work stacking shelves 5 out of 7 days and they are ideal for walking around the shop and moving the delivery cages on the shop floor. I would highly recommend them as my last pair lasted for near on two years of constant use and the one hour a day walk to and from work.
Great fit, partner hasn't complained about and rubbing or wearing in eitherAlso want to add how helpful customer service was when FedEx didn't deliver on time, tried at a different address and tried to refuse us to collect even though they didn't deliver and didn't even know where we are.. we had to add partners name via patrol store so we could collect so yeah was very happy with customer service too :)
Brilliant boots for the money.I wear them all year round; at work, on my motorcycle and walking. V comfy.
These 'waterproof' boots are light and comfortable but have a serious failing - they are not waterproof. They are let down by the tongue. Walking through long wet grass and within seconds the water penetrates into the boot and your feet are soaked. Similarly with rain - waterproof trousers seem to make it worse and channel the rain onto the tongue and into the boot. Puddles are OK, as long as they are only an inch deep and you can avoid splashing water onto the other foot!Seriously, who designs a 'waterproof' boot then makes the tongue from mesh?
They are replacing my old pair was really happy with then so getting the same brand I was happy to my old pair are still waterproof just soles and heels worn !!!!
I have a pair of Grafters about 12+ old so needed a new pair for every day use. These Grafters ambush are very comfortable and should last a good few years, just not too impressed with the plastic eyeiets at the top of the boots, i'm sure they will last longer thani think though.
