The storyline might not be the most interesting, but actually being able to plan a heist and pick who you want to hack and drive and provide firearms is mental. Making stupid decisions for a heist can also affect how it goes down, you may lose money, someone might die, it's just crazy how in-depth the game gets. The game can get slow at times but if you wanna take a break from the main story, do some side quests which are referred to as "Strangers and Freaks". 100% completion of this game doesn't come easy it will take some grinding and some time consumption in order to acquire the 100% you may need to watch YouTube videos for help. Overall the story mode to this game is top-notch and I give RockStar props for creating such a banger of a game.

To say anything more specific on this subject would be to risk spoiling one of GTAIV's most interesting new features, but suffice it to say that every decision you make has consequences, and you'll likely want to play through the game at least twice to see how the alternatives unfold. Grand Theft Auto IV's story mode can be beaten in less than 30 hours, and there are so many optional activities and side missions totake part in along the way that you can comfortably double that number if you're in no hurry. The majority of the story missions task you with making deliveries and/or killing people, and play out in much the same way as those in previous games. With that said, most of the missions are a lot easier this time around, partly because Niko is a more agile and efficient killer than any of his predecessors, and partly because the LCPD seemingly has better things to do than hunt down an illegal immigrant who's gunning down undesirables all over the city. The PS3 version can only be played after a mandatory install that takes around 10 minutes, and its load times are a little shorter and less frequent as a result. The visuals, which don't always hold up to close scrutiny but are impressive during typical gameplay, In case you haven't guessed already, Grand Theft Auto IV is a game that you simply have to play. Ive bought this game so mamy times lol. Ps3, ps4, now xbox series x and sold and repurchased on top of that. I appreciate the game more and more as we get shuffled so much garbage nowadays in todays gaming ecosystem. Years ago i knew this game was great but after getting it back recently and actually working on beating the game the attention to details in this game is astonishing. To the world to the characters and the cars the way people react and go about their day it truly is mind blowing especially when todays games dont even come close to the quality this game is. Couple minor annoyances but just nit picks on my end. No working turn signals on cars and cops seeem to know where you are when your wanted even if your hidden. Great graphics, gameplay and massive game, that keeps you entertained for years.

I was late coming to play this game, but when I did I found it addictive and amazing. The initial storyline is great and still lets you go off-story to test yourself and achieve other goals. The game land is massive and the areas you can explore seem very varied and always entertaining. I enjoyed listening to the NPC characters as you travel through the Los Santos districts. Then on top of this is the ONline gameplay, which, being a little more difficult with the older developed players online, I found to be further entertaining trying to complete challenges and missions.
