Grand Theft Auto: Vice City PC (ROCKSTAR)

The 1980's were a very special decade. One that filled the world with classic TV shows, styles, music and more. Now, you can experience that world through the eyes of a criminal on the rise in Grand Theft Auto - Vice City. This continuation of the classic open-world video game series places you in Vice City, the GTA version of Miami, and has you playing as Tommy Vercetti, a man who just got out of prison, and wants to restart his life in the criminal world. He's sent to Vice City on the orders of his old boss, but he's being set up. For when he arrives, the money and product he's told would be waiting for him isn't there, and his boss wants it all back. So now, Tommy must fight everything Vice City has to throw at him, and begin his own empire one deal at a time. Grand Theft Auto - Vice City will have you facing numerous obstacles, as biker gangs, Cuban kingpins, and even politicians will want you dead. You'll need to be smart, be careful, and of course, be ruthless. How you play will be up to you, will try and work out deals to so that everyone profits and you stay alive? Or, will you be able to scare everyone into thinking that you are the top dog, and you are not to be messed with. It's your path to the top, and the city is yours for the taking if you can pull it off.

If you have played all 3D GTAs you will not be disapointed with this one. Played the original Vice City for PS2? If you have, you'll be right at home. Controls are the same as any GTA (excluding GTA's 1,2,Chinatown, and IV)with a few minor differences, such as the auto-rotating camera. As well as the 'Drive-By' controls which involve pressing and holding in L and using the analog stick to select the direction you'd like to view. Here is my Long, Detailed Review.Graphics- 10/10: Outstanding, complete 3D enviroment, cars dent, gun shells fly when you shoot, and the people match thier zone they are in (Lifeguards, swimmers, at beaches/ thugs, gang bangers, prostitutes in alley ways). Trees bend, water ripples, clouds float across the sky, and more eye candy!Sound- 8/10: Sounds are also great, as I mentioned before when gun shells fly and hit the ground they have a ringing soundwhen they hit! With good quality headphones you can hear the ocean crashing, cars engines. Without headphones the quality isn't the best through the PSP's speakers, I recomend a pair of headphones. Radio stations have a great array of music but this is where I gave it 8/10. It could just be my copy, but sometimes the music will pause and skip and some vehicle sounds lag. Voice acting is also kinda lame, but not the worst.Story- 5/10: Probably the dumbest story yet. (CONTAINS SPOILERS) This game is presented four years before the original Vice City. Remember Lance Vanc.

Great game - I had it for Xbox 360 and when I received my Xbox One, I bought this for myself so I could continue playing it on my new console. Loads of new things. I originally heard they were making GTAV for the new consoles and thought, that's dumb, why would I pay for the same game twice? But after seeing what is different, I understand and didn't hesitate to purchase it. The graphics are astounding, much clearer than the game on older gen consoles, the first time I played it, my cars even looked different due to the colors being clearer! There are loads of new features, that I don't even think everyone will be able to find. Some features require you to progress in the story mode, so there is a reason to not just jump right into online and ignore single player. The game is great, if you had GTAV for older consoles, you should definitely get it for the new ones. My complaint with the company though is all of the new features they added for returning players are all of the suggestions people have been wanting since the game came out - lights under the car, more animals in online play, activities, new clothing, I mean all of the things peop.

It might as well be GTA in a different city. And it works, too - the 1980s is sufficiently recent for most gamers over 20 to relate to, without being outdated (ie. GTA London). It also allows for some excellent cars, such as the Pontiac TransAm of the time (shame it doesn't seem to come in black :-> ) and the Honda CRX. All the cars seem more satisfying to drive than those in GTA3, and some of the worn-out old bangers in GTA3 appear in Vice City...looking brand new! Great attention to detail. Bikes are also available for the first time on PS2, and yes, you can take them pretty much anywhere - over jumps, into shopping malls and up escalators, over rooftops, pretty much anywhere. Of course, if you can't get somewhere by car or bike, take a helicopter or seaplane. Again these are sur.

I had GTA 5 on PS3 and man did it have problems. They fixed quite a few bugs in GTA 5. The 8 GB of RAM on 8th gen consoles makes a huge difference in graphics and performance. Gameplay has also been improved somewhat and the FPS mode is a great feature they added. It's fun in cars asside from the rear view mirrors being blurry. You can also see how fast your going in most cars as the steering wheel blocks the guadges in some cars. The FPS mode seem a bit off when your on foot because your character is constantly looking to the left if you are looking at yourself in a mirror or something. I hope they fix that. It's not a huge problem but it's a noticeable one. It's still playable in FPS but it's just a bit weird your characters head is always looking to the left. The ... MoreI had GTA 5 on PS3 and man did it have problems. It used to say it was down like 80% of the time but I can now get on the Bawsaq market with no issues investing durring the lester assassination missions. The new vehicles give more variety to traffic and vehicle spawning has been significantly improved. Before when I played GTA 5 on PS3 I had two to three of the same cars spawning and driving around almost every where. They also brought back some vehicles from GTA 4 with a few improvements to their design. I noticed the return of the imponte dukes (69 Dodge Charger) and the blista compact (80's Honda CRX) these cars were in GTA 4 but we're left out in GTA 5 7th gen. Here's why I gave it 4 stars, the vehicle spawning h.

GTA has been one of my favorite series since GTA III. I have had GTA V on PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC. I'll start off with a bit of a negative feeling I had with it. I didn't like the idea of multiple player-characters but I believed if they could make the player-characters interact with each other, it could be very revolutionary for ... one player games. They really didn't succeed on that. I've spent countless hours on the game looking for a car that I wanted Trevor to have but won't see a single one. Then, I switch to Franklin and Michael and the first car I see is the one I wanted Trevor to have but outside of driving to Trevor, getting out and switching characters there wasn't much of a way to pull this off. To make matters worse, the other characters are rarely seen when you try to go back to where they were. This also applied to money, weapons, bullets, etc...Besides that, this is a very fun version of GTA, my personal favorite. I thought the little stories for each character were funny, the NPCs were memorable and funny too. I still hear "Green light, green light ...Martin Madrazo... give you green light!" I also liked the way they had the characters of Franklin and Michael working together. Trevor is the star of the three but as with every GTA, they always go overboard with a character. Trevor should have had the most funny parts but most of his were serious and that's the other part, they made him too bitter. This is a longtime problem with GTA characters..

Maybe it's the new adventure set in Vice City with a new character. Maybe it's the fact that I can carry it around and play anytime, anywhere I want. Who knows? But, one thing I do know for sure is that I love Grand Theft Auto:Vice City Stories a heck of a sight more than Grand Theft Auto:Vice City for the PS2 Console. Course, this game takes place 2 years before that game does. It tells the story of Vic Vance. A soldier who makes one big mistake by trafficking drugs for his sergeant and is kicked to the curb by the service. It's then that he makes a tough choice. Build an empire of his own or be crushed by all the opposition that is into the drug trade. Guess which road he takes. All the graphics in this game have alot more detail to them. The framerate is alot better. There's less pop-up than before. You can even see alot farther in the game now with no problems. Essentially, though, it's the same GTA that we've played time and time again.
