So glad to have finally found a straight mic stand that is tall, robust, doesnt cost $300+, and doesnt have to be shipped directly from the US. Im 65 and this thing is more than tall enough for me. Id be surprised if anyone this side of 7 feet couldnt make this work for them.

So glad to have finally found a straight mic stand that is tall, robust, doesnt cost $300+, and doesnt have to be shipped directly from the US. Im 65 and this thing is more than tall enough for me. Id be surprised if anyone this side of 7 feet couldnt make this work for them.

Really solid mic stand that has a excellent range of heights - good for tall people!! On hand adjustment seems durable and not likely to fall apart after constant use.

I originally bought it to use when singing live 'rat-pack' stuff with a band behind me ... but the quick release grip doesn't accommodate my birdcage mic (I was unable to try it first due to distance) ... so I decided to just use this stand in my studio. I mounted a condenser mic on it and added a side gooseneck so I could hotmix acoustic guitar & vocal together ... but it can't support the weight of the 2nd mic.and the stand just drops. If you're only going to use a lightweight mic like an SM58 then this will be fine but it is not cut out for serious use. Buy a K&M instead.
Worth every penny! Solid, wide base with a very tight hand clutch that doesn’t move unless you use the clutch! Nicely done!
A very solid stand and great value for money.
This Mic stand is AWESOME! It is super cool to look at, and is sturdy enough even for my heavy condenser microphone. This purchase is a big win!
The clutch gets stuck very easily and makes the stand unable to go up and down. This made it unusable after just one event. I've only had the stand from June 2020 - Sept 2020. I will update to let you know how customer service is.
