These are seriously the greatest thing ever invented for dogs who need to take pills. I’ve had three dogs all of whom have refused to take pills. I spent my life trying to shove pills into things like cheese which crumble and fall apart until I found these. They are super soft and have a hole in the middle where are you stuff pills. My current dog takes three small pills and I can fit all three of them in one pill pocket. So I break that in half and shove it in one of the capsule size pill pockets and she gobbles it up. I can’t say enough good things about these. I am 67 years old, And I havent been getting enough exercise. I had a Nintendo Wii about 14 years ago and it was a lot of fun. My wife took it away for me and I dont know what happened to it. So now 14 years later we are dealing with Covid. I am vaccinated and boostered. But I am still playing it safe by really not going anywhere except to the grocery store on Wednesdays. And I decided that the Nintendo Wii would be a great way for me to get some good exercise, have fun playing sports games without having to leave my apartment. So I bought this used WII and it works absolutely perfectly. And it came with Wii sports resort And I ordered Tiger Woods golf And we sports from another seller on eBay. These are great! I have to give my dog pills twice a day and one of them is usually not a problem, but he really doesn't like the taste of the other one. I tried putting it inside a piece of hot dog, ham and others, but he can smell them and will either spit them out or just not eat them. I started using these by popping the pill out on the table (so my hands won't smell like the meds), then I take about half of one and press it on top. I then turn it around and pinch to close. Since the tablets aren't very big, each one is good for 2 tablets and small pieces without any meds so he won't suspect. I try to keep the size as small as possible so he won't chew and just swallow the whole thing. So far so good.

These are perfect for fussy pups who are hard to medicate. My ShihTzu has to take a large capsule daily and these make it super simple. He gobbled it right up. This is our first timing trying cheese flavor and he loved it! I have to break the pill pocket in half because a whole is too hard for him to swallow but still enough to cover the capsule. Love that they don’t need to be refrigerated so perfect for travel. Can’t live without these now!
This is the first time I have tried the cheese flavored Greenie's Pill Pockets and I have extremely picky Goldens. They actually love them. My 13 year old is on some large pill medicines and it's always been a struggle getting them down. He gobbled it right up after he sniffed the cheese flavor! My 5 year old has a small pill he takes and he can find a pill the size of a pinhead no matter what I put it in. He didn't manage to dig the pill out with these because they were apparently too yummy to pick apart. I am also using them as a training reward for my 6 month old pup. They work great because they are easily pulled apart to give little bits to the pup as a reward! They actually smell pretty good, like real cheese! We're happy!
These cheese flavored pill pockets are a perfect way for my husband and I to give our two picky dog eaters to take their medications. We have tried so many different things to get them to take their medication including cheese whiz, peanut butter and deli meat. They always eat around the pill and spit it out. Using these pill pockets they eat them with no problem. With smaller pills I break the pill pocket in half which gets me more uses. Be aware the cheese pockets have chicken in them.
First off several of these WERE mushed BUT that's just because they are really soft so that you can more easily get it around the pill...it was no more difficult to use the squished or broken ones than the intact ones, they worked GREAT. FYI it's best to give your pup a fake first (or if you have a second dog give them a piece...my girl gobbled hers down quicker when I did), they chew that one and the second (with the pill) they just gobble down. Learned this the hard way. So I alternate pill vs no pill using the broken pieces.2nd...I have a rather large dog and she recently needed antibiotics and thyroid pills. The antibiotics were 4 pills twice a day and one large pill once a day. Her antibiotics smell bad and aren't small.
