Wonderful product. GreenPan is top notch. Have had this one a few weeks now. Please read the instructions ! The one issue I do have with it, is the labeling on the menu pad. Almost impossible to read. I have to create a reflection with my hand by hovering over the buttons. Then the printed labels can be read easily. Treat this unit with love and care! If you absolutely HAD to replace the inner pot, GreenPan does not sell them separately! You’d have to go through the warranty instead. The preset temps to sear are really hot ! Gets the job done. Made a roast a few days ago- great searing, finished it in the “Hi” crock pot setting. Nice! Wish it came in a 7-8 quart though. Fabulous price from Home Depot! $129.99 price was outstanding. Best slow cooker I’ve ever had

I am really happy with this slow cooker, it does what it should very well, and it’s features are really useful. I’m a big fan of GreenPan, their coatings are really tough, way tougher than Teflon and other coatings, truly non-stick (making cleanup super easy), and being non-toxic is a definite plus.I haven’t tried all the settings, but the browning setting works really well, meaning you don’t need to use a separate pan… it has worn up times meaning food hits the pan at the right temperature. And after you’ve browned, just set it to slow cooker (hi/low/warm) and set the time. Best slow cooker on the market!

The best thing about this cooker is the different settings. Being able to sear things in the pot before slow cooking makes it so much easier and less dishes! I have also found I can remove the lid and turn up the temperature during the last hour to simmer and thicken sauces.I am loving this slow cooker and it’s the best one I’ve ever owned. A quality product that does a variety of things.The only negative is the preheat function before every setting. It takes a long time. And that the unit is quite big and bulky.

Easy (to cook and clean), versatile slow cooker

You sauté it at the start, then add some carrots and onions and leave it on low all day, resulting in a juicy chicken for the whole family to enjoy. I'm excited to try it's steamer and functionality given how good the sauté, slow cooking (high/low) and keeping warm functions are.

After taking the cooker out of its packaging I was a little surprised by the size as I had imagined it to be slightly smaller, but it looks and feels like quality.After quickly reading the instructions and familiarising myself with the different functions and buttons on the lovely LCD, I couldn't wait to get cooking and try it out.Pulled together some ingredients that were lying around in the fridge for a while and decided on a chicken stew for a family of four. Quickly chopped potatoes, carrots, mushrooms, onions, garlic, layed my chicken thighs on top and added some herbs and stock.Set the cooker to fast cook, which was for a 4hr cooking time and we all went out for the day, hoping that we would come back to a cooked meal. The functions are very easy to use. Sri Lankan curry turned out better than previous hob results because the flavours were locked in and the juice was thicker. Used the Low setting for 2.5hrs and it was ready. Very impressed. Was able to put in all ingredients and leave it to cook and tackle the day’s to-do list! This particular slow cooker is unique because the machine can heat your food whilst you are serving. It will know the lid is off, which is when food can cook quickly, but this clever machine heat your food so your creations are still hot. The vegan cawl soup turned out to be a winner with chicken style chunks from well known supermarkets thrown in and plenty of garlic! It’s rare to be able to buy real quality these days. But this machine impresses me more and more every day. It definitely takes the pressure off when cooking. Just prep and away you go. Recommend curries… as the flavours are superbly managed in this machine. The buttons and display are straightforward. The only negative is that the free cookbook was too big on the animal meat. It was a turn off. But the machine itself is probably the best on the market in my experience and opinion. Enjoy!

I wanted to love it 😩

After many attempts with different items, this product simply isn’t cutting it. I’ve attempted to slow cook beans several times now, and after 3 (12 hr) increments they were still firm. I’ve cooked a chicken, and it took a full 8 hr cycle on high and still wasn’t tender. I’ve made a roast which I had to finish off in my Dutch oven because it still wasn’t ready by dinner time. I love the look of the product, and more importantly that it is non-toxic. Unfortunately it just needs fine tuning because the product simply doesn’t work. I have many other products by this brand that I love. Very sad that I don’t feel the same about this one :/

Keeps shutting off unexpectedly

I got this slow cooker for Christmas last year and it was love at first sight. The features are amazing and the non-stick "crock" is a game changer. Unfortunately, a few months ago it began randomly shutting off in the middle of cooking. This resulted in a number of lovingly prepared meals that had to be thrown out. Also, the lettering on the buttons wear off quickly and then you have to press buttons from memory, which isn't great if, like me, you only use your slow cooker a few times per month. The concept of this appliance is excellent, but the quality and longevity of the product is lacking, especially at this price point.

Nice slow cooker

I like this GreenPan Premiere 6-Quart Slow Cooker. I got it in stainless steel and it’s the perfect size for my family. I have been using it daily since I got it and every meal has turn out very good. My family likes slow cooker meals and I make them a lot because they are so easy and the meats are always so tender. I really like that I can brown and sear meat before actually slow cooking. The pot is removable for easy clean up. It has a LCD display and 8 preset buttons like slow cook, steam, simmer and more. I really like the steam option it’s a great feature so I can make healthier foods like broccoli, carrots and other veggies. So many great features, works so well

I LOVE this slow cooker! This does so much more than my previous slow cooker, you can do everything you need to cook a roast for instance...You can put the roast in, let it brown on both sides with your spices, water & onions then once it's done, you don't need to switch out of a big pan like usual. You just add the rest of your veggies, add more liquids & put it on slow cook. The roast is ready quickly & cooked all the way.I've been able to cook numerous other meals in this, nothing ever burns, it's always cooked perfectly & nothing ever sticks to the inside.This is super easy to clean, has all the options & everything is easy to store. It does take up a bit more counter space than my other slow cooker, but that's the only drawback of this one.I can't ... MoreI LOVE this slow cooker!
