We were looking to update a 28cm frypan that had reached its use-by date with another of the same size. A Myer advertisement popped up on our computer with a special 50% off sale on kitchen items. We purchased the 28cm GreenPan SmartShape Frypan. It is a vastly superior product to the one we had and it does a wonderful job of cooking just about anything. It cooks evenly, has an amazing non-stick capacity, is easy to clean and apparently the surface material will allow use of metal implements (we wont be using them). A favourite dish is fresh eggs from our chickens and a rasher or two of bacon that we buy locally.

Great conductor of heat and retains heat well. Cooks evenly. Non-stick means little to no oil/butter required resulting in 'cleaner' cooking. Great on my induction cooktop- it heated up quickly. Very easy to clean, just rinse and wipe out. Solid construction and easy to hold and maneuver.

I had to look up on Greenpan’s Website what it is made from. Carbon steel, which heats up quickly and evenly, and it does.It is not recommended that the pan be used on high heat. This suited me fine, as I wanted it to mostly cook eggs on the stove and in the oven.This pan is not suitable to pre-heat at a high temperature to sear steaks, but I do find it excellent for cooking seafood at a medium temperature.Myer’s website says it is oven safe to 160, but the packaging says 180.Cleaning is easy as nothing sticks to it. My eggs and fish slide right off the pan without any oil.I like that the handle doesn’t get hot on the stove.The pan feels light, yet strong.

This pan has a high-quality coating and is pretty easy to clean. It is a good size pan to cook sausage, pancake, or egg omelette. It is not too heavy while weighting enough to stay stable on the stove. The only thing that can be improved is that the connection stainless steel part is in the same color as the plastic handle which you might be touching by mistake when it is still hot.
Ceramic coated frying pan is safer to use than teflon coated. Have used it a few times and no issues yet. Heats up quickly and there is no need to use high temperatures. Purchased from Myer at bargain price ($39.99 - normally around $120.00). Service from Myer Westfield Chermside was great.
I call it the smart pan. The handle feels good you really don't need any oil or butter.enhanced with diamonds sounds good and performs like a winner. PFAS Free a green tick.The Food doesnt stick and slides onto your plate. Very easy to clean.
I love the look of this pan. Meat and veg cook easy with no added oils. My eggs still catch even if i do add a bit of spray. Cleans easily. They do warn that the base of the handle gets hot, even though I am aware of this I still end up grabbing it here because the pan is a little heavy. Overall I like it!
The quality of Greenpan products is the reason I have purchased this frypan. The non stick finish and ease of cleaning is exactly as stated. This is my second product. I previously have purchased a 30cm shallow covered casserole and after many uses it looks as good as new. I have no hesitation recommending these products and I will no doubt be buying more in the future.
I decided to try this new brand and was very disappointed. The non stick surface does not work at all. Tried to return to Myer Macquarie Centre after owning for 3 months and was refused a replacement. Told to clean the pan “properly” by GreenPan and Myer. My cleaning is spotless and food still sticks. Never had this issue with other brands. Steer clear of this product.
This fry pan is truly magnificent. Not only is it truly, completely non-stick (I can clean it with just a wet cloth) its coating is also non-toxic.It heats up so quickly on my gas stove, no wandering about the kitchen looking for things to do for 6 minutes whilst your second hand pan (donated by the Church of Mum) takes what seems like eons to get hot enough to fry a measly slice of bacon.Got screaming kids that demand breakfast in a fraction of the time it actually takes to make it? I don’t, but if I did, I could probably pull that off thanks to GreenPan’s incredible technology.Loved it so much I went back and bought the wok and stock pot.
