I got this as a wedding shower gift after I put it on the registry. I was so excited to use but I'm so disappointed now, especially considering how great the reviews made this sound! I think most people tend to write reviews after a brief trial period, so here's my reflection on the product almost a year after receiving. Since we were moving into a new home right after our wedding, the set wasn't unpacked right away and has only had about 7 months of use. I look forward to trying a different replacement set but I am a little cautious to get my hopes up... fingers crossed that this is a fluke

Out the box the pots and pans are a really beautiful set and the first several uses were fantastic.In the 7 months following purchase the quality has really gone down. Some of the frying pans are unusable. We have followed all of the of the recommended instructions for cleaning/care and cooking on low-to-medium heat and have exclusively used avocado oil. After the first several uses we have noticed horrible burn marks on the frying pans that are uncleanable and have stripped away all nonstick properties. I’ve had these pans for 15 months now, purchased Jan 15th 2022, and lots of them are already needing replaced. They were great out of the box, but they do NOT hold up over time. I follow all care instructions - low to med heat only, always have avocado oil in the pan, silicone utensils only in my kitchen, use the pot protector pads for storage. I don't understand why all the great reviews while my experience with these pans have been a let down say the least. I following the directions and yet a simple cooked onion wrecks havoc on the surface. I sincerely hope I got a defective batch but I can attest to preferring buying a pan at the dollar store than wasting money on these. And for those who did make mention that the edges chip easily - yup in 3 weeks the edges were already chipping (despite pan protectors and being extremely careful). I regret buying these pans an encourage you to keep looking. their are much better pots and pans for equal or less.

We do not use cooking sprays, use only wood or silicon utensils (even though the pan is supposedly metal utensil safe), clean only with soft, non-abrasive sponge by hand and diligently use pan protectors to store. The stockpot and frypans are all already chipping at the lips, the stockpot on the bottom as well. Contacted customer service and they told me it's normal and safe and asked if I wanted more pan protectors. Again, hasn't even been two months of use. I purchased this Green Pan set over a year now for my induction ccoktop. What an incredible buy!!! I use them daily, no sticking, rust nor warping and so effortless to clean. Adhered to manufacturer's guide to not use oil sprays as it erodes the protective layer and silicone spatulas no metal. Pots are strong, very well layered and I expect will last a lifetime with continued care. Gave away my other pot sets as Green Pan has all the right sizes, glass lids and durability I had been searching for. This buy is sure to please and exceed your own expectations (as is the very fair price ;) ).

I have used a variety of cookware lines, and none of them have held up as nicely as these. I have followed the instructions and don’t use metal utensils, and use the protectors for storage. Pure olive oil is recommended, but I have used regular olive oil and butter in my cooking without any issues. They heat up quickly, and I do not cook over the 6 setting and most often use a 4 and lower. The variety of sizes in this set serve me well. And the glass lids allow you to see what’s happening in that pan! I wish the 5 quart stockpot were a bit larger, and a lid for the 12 inch skilled would be a nice addition. I got this less than a year ago and the pans are already sticking and chipping. I have followed the care and use instructions from day one and they are already in poor shape. I also tried the melamine trick they recommend but it still doesn't fix the problem.I contacted customer service and they said the warranty doesn't cover this because it's human error and not a defective pan... Wouldn't this be happening to all of my pots and pans if I was using them incorrectly?I loved cooking with these, but unfortuntely with how fast they declined and the customer service I received, I will not be buying from here again. I read other customer reviews and looks like there has been more cases like mine.
