These balls are brightly colored and have that matte texture like the rest of the Grimms collection. I truly appreciate that since I have bought similar type balls from other artists online and they’re more shiny and don’t quite match with the rest of the Grimms collection. These are a great starter set for marble runs! Also I highly recommend getting the sorting tray so that the balls have a “home” and missing ones can be tracked down sooner!

As always, great quality from Grimm’s and wonderful service from Bella Luna. These balls have many uses. I originally purchased them to use for ball runs with other Grimm’s products but they are most consistently used with the sorting board — they fit perfectly together! My boys love to sort the colors and also love to use the balls as “rocks” and scoop them up with their tractors. Vibrant colors, perfect size for little hands to grasp.

I noticed one of my children started building marble tracks out of magna-tiles instead of the actual marble track set we own . . . Clearly she wanted more of a challenge. Decided to equip her with these beautiful rainbow balls and a variety of Grimm's interesting block shapes to see what her creative mind will do!

Seeing how much he has enjoyed them, I wanted to add a set of Grimm's Wooden Rainbow Balls to our collection of learning tools. These rolly polly spheres have been perfect for transferring activities, counting, color sorting, helping build dexterity, fine motor skills (and patience!), as well as a myriad of other open-ended play. My toddler is a huge fan of these small wooden rainbow balls. Out of all the Grimm’s toys we purchased, these get the most use. We use these in marble/ball runs and my toddler has incorporated the wooden balls in so many other activities. The colors are vibrant, they’re a safe size, & the possibilities are endless.
I bought the small wooden ball set to go with my wooden rainbow and semicircle set when I saw ball run example on the rainbow packaging insert.My kids have found so many opportunities to incorporate these wooden balls with their other toys. Solid, sturdy toy. Great for making marble runs with a Grimm’s rainbow toy, in a sensory bin, as rocks or a path with with dolls. We keep them out all the time because they’re so versatile! They’re the perfect size for little hands and are so colorful!
Both my children just LOVE these balls, over anything else that they received in their Easter Baskets. They've done so many things with them, make "Grape Juice," used in an at home Object permanence box with toiletpaper rolls and a cardboard box, sorta like a marble run. They've sorted them on the boards I bought elsewhere. They have spoken about colors and why is one set different then the others, we know get to talk about pastels and primary colors. They move their bodies is different ways while trying to catch run away balls. SERIOUSLY the best toy! Highly recommend. My daughter is 2.5 and my son is 4.
These balls are awesome. They fit in my three year old’s hands and work great for ball runs. Also, the play possibilities are endless. Just yesterday, he pretended they were potatoes in his grocery store. They are smooth and have a grippy quality. Highly recommend.
