I bought this to polish my paintings that are coated in epoxy resin. I sometimes have to sand down the surface of the resin due to imperfections, etc. Then I am left with a dull and cloudy finish. This polisher along with the correcting cream and the orange pads polished the resin to a crystal clear brilliant gloss finish with no swirl marks. I am so happy I could cry. This is a solution to a problem I've had for a long time. Thank you for putting out such a high quality product. Also...I love how I can swap out the heads for 3 different sizes, this is hugely important to me and one of the key reasons I purchased this specific product! I am so happy. Thank you!!

I purchased the GR3 a short time ago and just completed some paint correction on a 2003 Thunderbird. The unit works very good at getting into small places with the power of a forced rotation. While it can be tricky for beginners to use , with a little patience and practice the GR3 allows the user great speed control to avoid becoming too aggressive on the paint. The 2 extension spindles allow the user to get the machine angled into tighter areas where the buffer head/body would be bumping against some part of the car/panels. The GR3 can be a great tool for small thin areas like the A/B pillars or for isolated scratched areas that don't involve a large surface. All in all I think Griot's has a winner here. WHAT A GREAT MACHINE! I HAVE A G8 AND G9 AS WELL. THE WORKS SO WELL WITH THE VARIOUS BACKING PLATES TO GET IN TIGHT OR NARROW PLACES. I LOOK FORWARD TO USING IT ON MOTORHOME ALUMINUM WHEELS NEXT. DID I MENTION ITS A GREAT MACHINE
Very happy with this rotary. It can be used for various jobs using the 1-3” backing plate options. I’ve owned it for about 3 months now and used it for 4 jobs including headlight resto, door jam polishing, removing heavy scratches from a friends truck after he incorrectly removed the decals on each side of the bed on his F150, & a mix of light and heavy scratches from Jeep rear quarter. With only a few passes with the correct pad/polish combo you will be able to achieve success with this polisher. I love the design and ergonomics of the machine. Great value for the money.
