Just bought my 2nd, identical pair of these slippers. The sole came apart on the 1st pair after about 5 years, so it was a good run!These are definitely my ‘house’ shoes, with a thick enough sole to go outside to put the bins out or hang out the washing. The elastic gusset means I can don them hands free.Slippers are built for warmth, so they don’t breathe like sneakers. That means there will be an odour if your feet sweat in warmer weather (as other reviewers have complained). I find that wearing socks -no matter the season- will help.
