I been using this for about 8 days now and all I can say is really do enjoy the body wash. It leaves my skin feeling smoother, refreshed and soft. I do have sensitive skin and have noticed this soap will not cause any irritations, dryness or itchiness instead it leaves my skin feeling hydrated. The scent is the only thing that some may find strong personally I would have preferred if the scent was lighter. If I had to describe the scent it smells like a spring refreshing scent outdoor type of scent. The texture of this soap I noticed does not foam up a lot rather it is a gel like soap with a thicker texture. Overall an excellent soap keeps my skin from feeling flaky and dry. The pump works great it pumps just the right amount and it does not get stuck or hasn’t broke

(My husband hates the fragrance, he thinks it smells like an old lady.) The fragrance is not long lasting and can really only be smelled while using, not on the skin after. I also like the texture of this, it is slightly gelatinous. It is kind of difficult to describe, it is slimy but in a good way. It feels more thick and oily than a regular body wash, and it works amazingly well for shaving. I shower every day, and the bottle lasted me about a month. It doesn’t really lather, so it is slightly difficult to tell where it has already been applied; it kind of just slips off the skin. I don’t feel dirty, but my skin doesn’t have that freshly washed feeling. It might be a mental thing due to the no lather, I feel like I haven’t gotten “soapy” and am therefore not clean. I will say my skin is softer after using this than with a more traditional body wash, like from BBW. But for me, $44 is just not at all worth it. I would pay $15 for this at the most. Sorry, but I think there are better options out there for the price.

I received these products free from @thisisbutterly and @grownalchemist in exchange for my honest review. Energize Body Cleanser. I LOVE the smell of this, good lord! It smells like chamomile, bergamot and rose. It’s a strong smell when you’re washing, but it’s nicely subtle once you’re out of the bath/shower. It’s more like a gel consistency, but it lathers really nicely. Your skin feels really soft after use and doesn’t feel tight or stripped like some can. My only complaint is I need a bigger bottle 😂

I love the smell of this body cleanser (though I didn't find it energizing). It isn't overly perfumed, but rather a subtle scent which I enjoyed. It is gentle on the skin and did not dry my skin out. For me this product only had one downfall. I was not impressed by how this body wash lathered. This body cleanser is a gel consistency that doesn't get very sudsy. Because of this, I found I ended up using more product than I usually do. This is probably just a matter of personal preference

Disappointed

Like many others, I placed an order after using these products at a hotel while on vacation recently. It absolutely smelled heavenly & the consistency was great. I immediately got online to look up the brand and started my order — once I received my products when returning home I was left disappointed. The smell is nothing like what I used at the hotel & the consistency is thinned out. I was SO excited about this brand and was looking forward to having all of my bathroom products aesthetically match, smell like a spa & truly enjoy them. Probably will not repurchase the body cleanser, shampoo or conditioner. Vanilla watermelon lip balm, body exfoliant, body oil & body cream are promising.

Gentle body cleanser with a tangerine floral scent

I have been using a few different Grown Alchemist products and am loving how they are treating my skin so far. So, I was so excited to try out the Energize Body Cleanser and applied it every time I showered. I have noticed that my skin did not react negatively to it and actually looks more hydrated. I also like the very light tangerine and chamomile scent that the cleanser has, which helped me relax and calm down pretty easily. Its use of natural ingredients and the gentle way it cleanses my skin are huge positives about the cleanser.Please note that I received this product for free from Grown Alchemist in exchange for my honest review.

Hard to believe how good this stuff is

I stayed at a nice hotel last night in Covington, KY, and they had this dark looking set of products in the bathroom. I had not seen or heard of Grown Alchemist products before, and always take my own, known good, products for lotion, shampoo, body wash, and conditioner, but I was curious about this stuff so I tried the Body Cleanser, figuring if it did not work out, I had my own version along anyway. Out of the bottle it is like a gel, not a liquid, and I took maybe a half inch of it in my hand and tried it on my face, and wow. It felt so good going on, and left my skin feeling so smooth and clean, yet not dry at all, that I was quite impressed and determined that this product must be the best body wash type product I have tried. Great hotel, and even better product by Grown Alchemist....and I never thought I would review a product, positively no less, before even buying any! But this stuff is great, and will be a welcome addition to the bathroom.

Not good enough

I bought this hoping for a dupe of Aesop’s geranium body cleanser and as far as scent goes, it’s pretty comparable. However, the Grown Alchemist body wash doesn’t go as far (1 pump of Aesop was more than enough to lather my whole body but even two pumps of GA I don’t feel like it’s washed half my body), and the scent is nice but fleeting. Thankfully, Grown Alchemist makes a nice lotion because my skin is also dry and itchy after the shower. Overall, not worth it :(
