I can't say enough good things about Beauty Affairs. I've been a loyal customer now for about three years and can't fault their delivery - it feels like I get VIP Express Post when I just make a regular order. I (now) do a lot of online shopping across the board (clothes, shoes, beauty, etc.) and Beauty Affairs stand out from every other vendor I have shopped with throughout COVID as fast, reliable, and essentially flawless in their supply chain when even the previously-good-ones have slowly fallen victim throughout 2021 to COVID disruptions and delays. Whatever they're doing, it works! I will only shop elsewhere for beauty, cosmetics, and perfume on the odd occasion they don't stock a brand I want, but apart from that, I say: MECCA, who? Sephora, what? ^.^

I had a very good experience with Lorena from customer support. I was querying the cost of Youngblood mineral makeup on live chat (excellent product by the way) of which I had bought 2. The cost of the item displayed for sale appeared less than the final checkout price. It turned out the sale price was for a particular color but this was unclear on the page. Lorena looked into the discrepancy immediately and after explaining the reason, offed to give me a refund on that particular sale to compensate for the confusion. She was polite and considerate throughout. It’s good to know that such a fabulous Aussie company has such lovely staff!

I wanted to like this but the scent was just so overpowering. The patchouli and sandalwood take over and almost give me a headache. The only reason I gave two stars is because it actually worked pretty well and wasn’t greasy. I saw others liked it for their eczema which is why I was interested. The packaging is the other thing that turned me off. It reminded me of ointment. You use it’s own lid to open it and then it comes pouring out so fast you can’t stop it. I wish I could say I’d repurchase but it was just too strong for me.

I absolutely LOVE this hand cream! On first impression, the tube is super luxe and a great size. The hand cream dispenses easily and smells AMAZING - it’s a fairly strong herbal scent but is super pleasant and doesn’t give me a headache. It rubs in really well and doesn’t leave any greasy or sticky feeling behind. It sinks in quickly and my skin is SO soft after using this, and the effect really sticks around for a long time. This is a FANTASTIC hand cream and I would recommend it to anyone willing to shell out a few extra dollars for a super high-quality product.

Favorite handcream!

I love this handcream and wished it came in larger sizes. It's done wonders for my skin and I love how easily it absorbs and how soft and silky it leaves my hands. My skin drinks this up! When I started using this a few years ago, I really feel in love with the sandalwood notes in the scent, but it seems they may have made it more floral now. The original scent was most appealing for me!

Inconsistent

I had a tube of this years ago, or at least I thought it was this. It was a gorgeous earthy spicy rose, almost like incense. I wore it on my neck like perfume. I wanted to smell like that again. The hand cream I just received (in the holiday set) smells bad. Not like "I don't like it" bad, but like it's not good anymore--hardly any fragrance except an alcoholic, almost tinny smell like it's been in the tube for too long. And I'm seeing others are struggling with the fragrance too, the reviews sound like buying this cream is playing smell roulette. Disappointed.

Intense Moisturization with a unisex scent

I love how fast absorbing this cream is but wasn't too enthusiastic about the scent. While I expected it to smell light and rosy, my nose was greeted with more of a floral bonfire. Because I love the texture and the results so much, my only true issue with the cream is with the packaging. It wasn't obvious to me when I was purchasing it, that it would have a predominantly woody scent (due to the addition of sandalwood oil). I think the product is lovely, but because sandalwood oil makes up so much of its fragrance profile, it should be highlighted among Persian rose and argan oil on the front of the tube. The fragrance is inoffensive and could be considered a benefit if you were wanting to share your hand cream with your significant other. Terrible smelling product

I read the reviews first and still thought I would like the smell. I love rose, sandalwood and all the things the reviews were describing as too overpowering or "bad". Well, the tube I got smells terrible. It smells very chemical-ly and almost medicinal. I don't like it at all. I'm hoping I can return it without any problems since it was opened and used one time. Save your money.

The Smell

this is my third tube of cream and the first one ordered from the official site. Previously, I was surprised by the reviews that the cream smells unpleasant and very strong, for me it smelled pleasantly herbaceous with hints of geranium. and so I open a new tube from the holiday set, apply cream on my hands and .. the smell of patchouli is so strong that it causes a headache. and felt even if you put the cream on your feet and put on socks. this is the first cream I can't use. i like the formula, i like that it absorbs quickly and leaves the skin velvety, but the smell
