Elegance in a bottle; that's Habit Rouge. I used to wear HR back in the day and got away from it for more modern fragrances. I bought a bottle directly from Guerlain the other day and I couldn't be happier with this latest iteration. The scent, for me, is perfect. The EDP is quite powerful; two half sprays on my neck and one full spray over my heart and I'm good for the whole day.Honestly, if this stuff was twice the price I'd still consider it a bargain. So happy this classic is still being produced. Guerlain hit it out of the park with Habit Rouge.

I was hoping for a habit rouge edt with improved performance but this is actually really different from the edt. A lot less citrus and carnation compared to the edt while the leather and vanilla is amped up here. Still Habit Rouge and still great, but I much prefer the edt to this one.

Gentlemen in my family have been using Guerlain fragrances since the early 1900's in Cuba, and now in the U.S.. I myself have been using "Imperial" and "H.R." for years. Decided to buy direct due to untrustworthy sources elsewhere.Merci
A difficult fragrance too describe. It's floral, the rose is ever present. I smell orange, vanilla and that typical Guerlinae scent. This is for a mature man. From casual to a suit and tie. The edp is much smoother and perhaps more modern than the edt. I would definitely qualify Habit Rouge edt, edp and L'eau (the latter definitely modern) as absolute masterpieces. It took me some time to appreciate Habit Rouge, literally about 40 wearings and then it hit me. This is one of the greatest perfumes ever made, but to be fair it is not for everyone!
A really special and distinguished perfume for the ages i.e. a timeless classic! Fresh, spicy, vanilla leathery woody goodness that smells special, lasts long, projects well and is just a pure pleasure to wear. While HR has great versatility, it is especially suited for special occasions as it projects class, elegance and sophistication. Takes you on a fragrant journey, lingers around and you will get occasional whiffs throughout. I also wear it sometimes just to be in a good mood, also at the office, meetings and it also performs great in high heat. This is so good on so many levels that it's one of my favourites and I highly recommend HR! One I shall never be without.
My husband used “Habit Rouge” over fifty years during his lifetime. I have missed that scent for the past 9 years. Recently, I purchased it for my son; how lovely to enjoy the scent again. It is ageless.
I started my first job in 1970 when I was 15. It was at a famous hairdressing salon in Mayfair London called Leonards. It was my first day and suddenly my senses were filled with a heady aroma. It was intoxicating. I looked around and the owner Leonard Lewis walked into the salon. I have never smelled anything like it before or since, and I have worn it since then, so thank you, Guerlain for introducing me to this my favourite cologne
Simply one of the all time Greats and one of, if not, my favourite perfume. The fresh lemony opening is one of the best one can experience, the floral and sandalwood heart is smooth, with the dry down to a leathery Guerlinade bliss. The overall journey and notes experience is sublime, performance (sillage/ projection/ longevity) is outstanding. The impression is of refined elegance and sophistication; it shines for classy special events but is wonderful for any occasion and all seasons. If you like something masculine classic and classy, it is worth a try - for me, a must have. For what it does, it is a steal - great value too !Highly recommended.
the EDP version smells very refined, well done in the Guerlain way. However, the scent profile just doesn't speak to me, as far as my taste and likes in fragrances go. This has too much powder than to my liking. Also not as deep and dense as I would have liked it to be. In comparison, the newest release, which is the Parfum version, to me is better, deeper, denser, boozier, and never powdery at all.
