Absolutely amazed by the fragrance! Called Belvish before placing the order since this was my first purchase from them. Akshay from Belvish suggested me to go with with Guerlain L'HOMME IDEAL EDP after whatever I have discussed with him. I had a leaning towards this fragrance too but was hesitant since I didn't tried it. I had seen couple of YouTube videos too, hence had a good image for this. But a blind buy is a blind buy. It could either be a hit or a miss. It was only due to Akshay's confidence that I could placed the order. I am more than happy as it came out to be amazing fragrance.

I have the L'Homme Ideal Extreme and I absolutely love the signature Almond note along with the Plum, Tobacco and Leather notes that stand out. That's my most favourite perfume among my collection. Had to buy the Ideal EDP for the Cherry, Lavender, herbs, Vanilla and Sandalwood notes. You will definitely standout with this perfume. I already feel like I should get backup bottles for both Ideal and the Extreme considering how much I love them and how much I'm gonna wear them. Also, on Friday Charm you're getting a 100ml bottle for the price of a 50ml bottle at retail stores/Nykaa.

Launched in 2016, L’Homme Ideal Eau de Parfum is amber woody Fragrance. Top notes are Almond, Spices, Lavender, Bergamot, Rosemary and Thyme. Middle notes are Cherry, Vanilla, Incense and Bulgarian Rose; base notes are Leather, Tonka Bean and Sandalwood. This is great! It is unique, but still has a warm, cozy vanilla scent, with the cherry and almond and then starts to get woody. GREAT for Cold weather. Projection is good and Performance is moderate… I get around 8 hours and the scent remains close to the skin throughout the wear, leaving a nice scent trail for others to enjoy as well.

Man this one is just perfection in my opinion. Two sprays and your good so it’s potent. It’s very unique in the fact it uses a cherry note and it works even though it’s not a man’s fragrance note. Very smooth delicious fragrance the tobacco note is there in a pipe tobacco form in my opinion and isn’t to loud like some other tobacco frags. This is a winter scent and fall scent ie cold weather generally. Very gentlemanly and not a young man’s scent in my opinion. Start rocking this one in the late 20’s I believe.

Gem of a fragrance.

One of the best smelling fragrance in my opinion. The cherry and leather note is so different and smells unique.The price in comparison to other retailers during sale was unmatchable. Such a steal at the moment of time, unfortunately the stock levels are always low especially for the bigger size bottles.

Guerlain l'homme ideal EDP

Amazing juice, has excellent projection in moderate heat as well. I wore it around 3-4 times last fall/winter. It has since gotten insanely strong while sitting for that time. The leather and cherry have become much richer and dense. Absolutely gorgeous, I'm in love. Masterpiece fragrance

Musky, strong and absolutely irresistible

This is one of the best male fragrances I’ve ever smelt. It’s the only scent I allow my partner to wear now! I feel like it takes a bit of time to settle and build up on the skin, but it’s such a deep musky and woody scent, it’s amazing. Quite sad we only got the small bottle as will definitely be stocking up on this when he runs out! I also noticed that this lasts for ages too as a couple of hours later I could still smell it quite strongly on him! If you’re looking for a masculine scent that is a little different from everything else that’s about at the moment, this is for you.

Review of GUERLAIN L'Homme Idéal Eau de Parfum for him

The smell at the start was quite unpleasant, but after few sprays I could get a better smell of the fragrance. Really good quality. Definitely would recommend checking the note breakdown or having smelt on skin and strip before purchase. Some might like the leather note. One of the best flankers in comparison to others.

I know this is called 'The Ideal Man' and is targeted at men, but in all seriousness, L'Homme Ideal is superb for women. I kid you not.There is quite a strong opening, as if all the notes are bursting forth like a flower bloom. The notes are listed offically as almond, vanilla and leather, but there is a mild pipe tobacco base to it too. It adds a subtle comfort and makes it perfect for cooler, windy days.The opening dries down to quite a linear scent that lasts a good 5 hours on me. It is beautiful throughout. There is a sweetness to the almond, but it stays away from being gourmand. The vanilla is a toned down Guerlinade; if you are familiar with Shalimar or Mon Guerlain, you'll know what I mean.Intetestingly, L'Homme is THE most complimented scent I own. Underrated gem

Bought a few blind buys the past few months but this is definitely the best blind buy I have bought up to now. Performance is brilliant too. The projection is at least average, longevity is brilliant - it lasts around 9 hours if you spray 3 times around the pulse points on your neck and the dry down is excellent - different notes become more prominent as the hours pass. Really impressed with this EDP =)
