Beautiful thread with the thickness I was hoping for. I had gone to a sewing supply store previously to buy silk thread to make this headband, but I realized later that it was too thin. This is perfect!

Gutermann thread is with a tight twist, which has a degree of permanence when under tension, thus its diameter is consistent throughout each reel, enabling it to slip through the needle's eye with ease and alacrity.
