2nd purchase of Q2 rim coating for new set of wheels. Really like the simplicity of this, wipe on wipe off, not complicated application proceedures.Has great durability, coated the current wheels 8 months ago (circa 9,000 miles) and a quick wash with warm soapy water and the come up looking like new and still bead water.Highly recommend this product and the guys at Clean Your Car for well packaged speedy deliveries.

Probably took me about’s 6 hours to do all 4 wheels and that entailed removing them from car, iron x and then using a clay bar so it wasn’t a 2 minute job like I thought it might be. But it’s the preparation that’s the key and the result is well worth it. The wheels are now so easy to clean and the brown brake dust that German cars are known for comes off with very little effort. Highly pleased.
Having just refurbished my wheels I thought I'd give this a go, having just used wheel waxes before this was a tad different.So having thoroughly cleaned the wheels I put on my respirator & nitrile gloves & got to applying the coating, it was easy enough although using the the foam supplied foam block soon proved futile trying to get in to all the curves & smaller places on the rims.So after the 24 hr curing period the rims have a lovely gloss to them & the beading is simply awesome.Can't comment on the longevity as yet but it has to better than the wax.
I do like all Gyeon products -4 microfibre squares included - was a little tricky to get used to the application. I did not use the dropper and just dropped it from bottle only squares. Have to wrap around the sponge to apply - trying not to use too much - used squares folded to get into smaller parts of alloys, lug holes etc. I used about half the bottle for 4 wheels inside and out - wheels look very good - will be interesting to see how long it lasts and what the wheel cleaning will be like. I just had my wheels refurbished so are like new - will look at Q2 repel for windscreen next.
Really impressed so far. Easy application, good coverage, darkens blacks etc. Good hydrophobic capabilities - will be interesting to see how long it lasts but only time will tell. Coverage wise I had two full coats on wide 18"s (barrels and faces) and two full coats on 17's (barrels and faces) - then had enough to do the faces of 4 x 20" on an M5 - so with the correct prep you have plenty to do two cars

Just the right setup and infrared lighting to cure it properly. (Otherwise wait 24hrs for cure times) I had my previous wheels, I now have sold, on my car for over a year and you could still see the beading and protection still doing it's job to about 80% effectiveness. After getting another set of wheels powder coat refurbished as new I decided to use this product again as it works very well for me last time. Far out preformed any waxes, sealants etc I'd tried previously. Ive been using this for years and its brilliant.I applied it to a motorcycle back wheel when new, withstood 3 years of solvent based grease removers no problem.Focus RS has had all 4 wheels treated on a yearly basis for 3 years running. 25000 miles and the wheels still look brand new.Awesome product!
Purchased the Gyeon Q2 Rim kit to coat and protect a new set of alloy wheels.The kit was easy to apply and had all the necessary items.I fully coated four 17x8J wheels and only used just over half the kit. So used sensibly you should be able to coat two sets of similarly sized wheels.I also used Gyeon Q2 Prep before applying Rim to make sure the wheels were free from potential contamination.The only improvement I would suggest for the kit or others who use it would be to have some firm wedged sponges or a similar applicator too. Just to allow slightly better application in some of the more complex corners and notches in modern wheel designs. But that is a nitpick!Great product.
