I just covered my brick fireplace surround with fibre cement board and used Dunlop FC Jointing compound for the joins and it was horrible! I should've read the reviews prior, it dried rock hard, had cracks and was impossible to feather out because it was practically sand. I tried sanding it but it was useless..Point is that I purchased this All purpose compound yesterday and it was amazing!It worked so much better than I expected and was so easy! I seriously am so happy with the result.Hot tip: Just make sure you take out how much you need and give it a good stir in a bucket before you apply to work the air bubbles out.

Extremely poor product. Shrinks and splits, definitely not an all in one, wouldn’t use as a base or top coat. Avoid at all costs.
