"chocolate"! ben and Jerrys just taste like sugar. as does walls, spas own brand & all others i have tried. please Asda don't do as other stores have done like stocking all the new fancy flavours & forgetting about people who love the best choc ice cream ever made "Haagen daz belgian chocolate

Best Premium ice-cream

Been eating Heaven Dazs on-screen since the late 1980's. They are simply the best without competition. The price is high, outside of promotions, however good things cost more. I always like the fact that unlike Ben & Jerry's lids which are made of cardboard - and are impossible to remove from frozen, the Heaven Dazs runs are plastic & easy to remove. Can't go wrong with this one

One of my favourite chocolate ice creams ever. Love the grated dark chocolate bits, which perfectly complement the creamy sweetness of the Haagen Dazs ice cream base.Just perfect when served with a dash of Disaronno, some Valrhona cocoa, cocktail cherry and crackers.

Excellent quality ice cream

The ice cream is really smooth and creamy. There is a good proportion of choc chips to ice cream and the chocolate chips are small, which I liked.Would buy again if on offer.Given 4 stars as I think the usual price is quite high.This product was brought as part of a promotion.

My favourite, and cheap at Asda

This is my favourite chocolate ice cream. Creamier and chocolatier than the others. Tastes like real chocolate rather than chocolate flavour. Cheaper at Asda than many other places.

One of the best

One of the best chocolate ice cream out there. Love the chocolate shavings, adding more texture. Can taste really good chocolate flavour, not dark chocolate but well balanced. Worth stocking.

Rich in flavour

This ice-cream is extremely indulgent. There is a rich taste of chocolate with light flakes mixed in subtly, without an overpowering taste of sugar. You can tell this is a better quality ice-cream than others. Bought as part of a promotion.

The icecream does not set

This is my all time favourite ice cream, I was a slightly disappointed with the latest order. The ice cream does not set at all. My freezer is working optimally as the rest of the food in the freezer is fine. The ice cream is mostly in liquid form.

You pay for a luxury quality ice cream

This ice cream has a smooth, velvety texture and you can really taste the rich Belgian chocolate in it. I like the texture of the hard chocolate curls against the smooth ice cream. The tub was expensive but you do pay for quality. It's really worth stocking up when it's on offer.

What many people miss when complaining about the price range is the quality of ingredients and process. These are a very indulgent and creamy range of ice creams, made with real cream and quality chocolate and the process of making these has taken a lot of research. These are not for those who don’t take the time to fully grasp the flavour, texture and density of what they eat, but if you do, you can tell the difference is palpable. To me this is head and shoulders above the competition, it is not overly sweet like others.
