Really happy and satisfied with this purchase. With my overdue baby ,I had to trim hair nails on the day she was born as she was scratching all over her face n me when I fed. Like the fact that it comes with different nail filer that can be used as baby grows. There is also an adult filer so it’s a win. Moms can do some manicure themselves when busy feeding baby. Highly recommend for all new moms out there.

Love this! After accidentally cutting my babys skin under the nail twice I was too scared to do it again so I bought the haakaa nail care set and it's so easy to use! Doesn't hurt your baby, different strength depending on age/nail and stops automatically if you push too hard. Recommend this to everyone:)

Really love this set. It makes filing the little one's nails so much easier. Little one doesn't mind the file while getting a manicure or pedicure :) Their nails get sharp so quickly, so this has saved me lots of time and energy with needing to regularly file nails. Used an emery board nail file for a few weeks prior, and this electric file has been a game changer!
Great little kit for trimming the evergrowing nails of little ones. Has different pads with different ages, you can even trim your own nails! It just takes longer. If the pads wear out you csn buy new ones off the haaka website. Cannot recommend enough. If you hit skin the machine stops unlike using clippers! Great baby shower present.
We love our Haakaa nail file it’s so much easier than using wee nail clippers. We have used it for our daughter, myself and now our son for three years now and we haven’t even had to change the batteries yet. There is two settings we use the low setting on our newborn and the wee light makes it easier to see their wee nails. Definitely recommend!
Oh the stress of clipping nails & accidentally hurting my baby ended up with her having super long nails, which she'd then use to scratch herself with. The Haaka nail file has been a lifesaver. No more fussy baby and she actually enjoys the way it feels on her fingers too. I now file her nails daily :)
This is my preferred method for trimming nails on newborns as it works so well on little fingers. Only let down is that they do mean it when they say in the manual to “remove batteries if storing for long periods”. We had one for my first son and then stored it away for ~18months before we got it out for my newest baby. It seemed to have eroded inside around the batteries and wouldn’t work anymore hence we purchased a new one. Now we actually remove the batteries after each use and just store them in the case with the nail file attachments.

My 18 month old son was and still is the most pleasant and happy boy. That was until it came time to trimming his nails and he would turn into the incredible hulk! I dont know why he hated it so much but he would kick and scream his way out of our arms making it near impossible to keep his nails maintained. My son also had bad eczema and would scratch himself alot. With his long nails it made his eczema worse seeing he'd always scratch his skin raw even when his rashes had nearly healed. It was his nails that were making it impossible for his rashes to disappear fully seeing he would also scratch just out of habit.
