Make sure to wipe the pads with a soft cloth when you are done to avoid getting nail dust all over everything! (It’s in the directions but easy to miss). All things considered, I’m SO glad I decided to try the bear version. Absolutely worth it.

I really wish this trimmer had been a thing two years ago when my toddler was a baby. Regardless, this was a great purchase and I recommend! It was very easy to use, gets the nails dull and shorter, and easy to clean up. My daughter’s only complaint was that it tickled on her toes. The device itself and contraption that stores it is adorable and efficient. There are sizes for several stages of baby, toddler, and adult. Give it a try!

Ever since my daughter was born she has had sharp nails that grow extremely fast. Now at 10 months, I've given up on her sitting still long enough to cut her nails. Low and behold, I stumble across this product that not only is gentle on skin and easy to use, BUT ALSO distracts her long enough for me to file her nails down. I love that it stops moving if too much pressure is applied, giving me a sense of calm when it comes to her safety. Not only that, but it comes with the added benefit of working for me and my husband! Very adorable device- would recommend to everyone with children under 10!!

This is a must-have item! My son hates getting his nails cut and he it has always been a battle, but he loves this and puts his finger on the pad on his own. He is seriously upset when we are finished and have to put it away! I wish I would have had this since he was a newborn and we wouldn’t have had to deal with those traumatic nail cutting days. And using from infant to adulthood…amazing! Funny enough I’ve used a similar pet item for my dog, but never thought of having one for my baby. LOVE IT!
I originally purchased this for my 6 month old baby who has razor blade sharp nails but barely sits still long enough to cut them. It works wonderfully to file them down easily and I don’t have to worry about accidentally clipping her. The bigger surprise is that, when it arrived, my 3 year old was quite interested in it. I saw that they had a file attachment for older kids and asked if he wanted to try it out. To my surprise, he said yes and sat still while I filed down all his nails. Now he’ll grab it and ask if we need to file his nails down. Prior to this, he absolutely hated getting his nails cut and had so much fear around it. It’s made it so much easier and quicker. I highly recommend for all ages - it’s a great tool to have around the house!
Love it! Clipping my baby’s nails makes me nervous so I’ve been filing them from the start. She’s now 13 months old and I came across this, thought I’d give it a try. She still needs a distraction while I do it, but it is nice and gentle and easy to use. Color coded disks included for different ages and it’s rechargeable. The little light is also helpful, I’m not sure if it’s meant to be functional or just to indicate charge, but it makes her tiny nails easier to see. Overall recommend!
I cannot get over how cute this little bear face is! I have always been nervous cutting my little one's nails. He's an active child and it's not the easiest cutting someone else's nails. My worst fear is that I cut his nail too short, and hurt him. I have something similar for my dog (who I also have a similar nail trimming anxiety with), and it is nice to have a baby version. I appreciate the additional attachments.
I like different colors of heads and age guide comes with them. Easy to take a look at and grab the right one instead of trying to remember which one I need. The light comes in handy when needed. Not sure if it actually makes the job easier (or it's just my baby as it's always a fight every single time lol) but definitely makes me less nervous about cutting into my baby's skin. Wish it comes in different, more neutral one as I don't really like pink. But it's more a personal preference and doesn't affect the functionality of the device.
Very nicely made and packaged - the case feels sturdy and the bear shaped handle is both super cute and ergonomic. Unlike every other version of this product, where the spinning file is at the end of the handle, this file spins perpendicular to the axis of the handle. I don't know that it works as well for me but others might like it. I find it more natural to hold the file like a pencil, so I prefer the file at the tip and not the side. However, this is well made for those who might hold the device like a handlebar
