This unit has shelves and baskets which is rare these days. I needed one where i could put biscuits that were baked, and the trays would not fit in the freezers that are all enclosed baskets. This has two open areas where I can use my trays and fit larger products that won't fit in the smaller enclosed baskets. Also can be used a refrigerator as it's a hybrid.

The fridge/ freezer is great. Heaps of room, easy access . Draws are big . Would recommend this product.
Delivery was fast (next day) and removal of old freezer was very convenient. However, the upright freezer I received was faulty after one day. The customer service failed to book the service in for me so I waited a week for nothing. I contacted Haier directly, the technicians came the next day after I booked it in myself. Unfortunately again, the freezer failed the next day. I have booked in another service, which is two weeks. So it's been nearly a month now and I still don't have a working freezer. Extremely frustrating. I really want to like it as it looks sleek and is spacious.
We are happy with our new Haier upright freezer. It works well, has plenty of room and it was well priced. Importantly the door is easy to open and it is well lit inside. The display on the front door makes it easy to check the set temperature. However it would be nice to view the actual temperature. Also being a hybrid we may choose to use it as a refrigerator in future.
i have always had a chest freezer but that ended up being a bench top for car keys, shopping, medicines and general junk. unfortunately i got old so now i am having frozen meals delivered and this freezer has changed my life. i can see what to get out for my evening meal and keep all my veg separate. no more cleaning out the freezer and find stuff that has mysteriously ended up on the bottom. being energy efficient i am even saving money an esthetically goes great alongside my existing fridge. best purchase ever.
