The draws in fridge and freezer are great our rummaging and ferreting and rearranging food stuffs to find stuff or fit more stuff in days are over. The design has also made cleaning much easier...its gone up by steps compared to our last easier to clean fridge freezer.Frankly we are both stunned by the quality of this fridge. The teams from various fields who worked on the Haier "Ecoplus" 419L Bottom Mount Refrigerator deserve recognition and honourable rewarding for their achievements. We are not Chinese. We are not rich. We rigorously research before buying most things as we need bang for cents as well as the bucks. We aim to buy quality products as the value of this is you save lots more money in the long term. We would consider buying again from Haier and looking at their other products.

bought IT FOR LESS THAN $1000. Its my first bottom mount freezer and and I am dissapointed with how small freezer is , I thought it would be bigger .Also some fittings are cheap as the door seals on freezer easily fall off continually and need to be pushed back on . It would have been an easy fix in the manufacturing but instead did it this way. It makes you wonder about how many hidden shortcuts and cheaper solutions throughout the whole fridge. It looks good and works OK at the moment but I would not have bought it for the above two negatives if known beforehand

The delivery guys were great, taking a lot of care getting the fridge up some awkward steps. So far I have found the fridge itself ok, its quiet, but it took me a very long time to reverse the doors to hinge on the left side as this fridge comes with the option to do this, a kit and 'instructions' to do so. Unfortunately although the instructions were in english they have not been written by someone with the ability to clearly state how it should be done, what the various parts mentioned were, or a clear diagram indicating which part was what. Pictures clearly showing each part such as 'blanking plugs' 'door stop' would have been helpful. I had a list of requirements when buying this fridge. I wanted a bottom mount fridge without an ice-maker or water dispenser, as these take up so much room. As I rent, my home can change, so I also needed a L or R opening door and a large fridge that would still fit through standard doorways. The fridge was perfect for about 4 months until it just stopped working. The lights worked but the freezer and firdge no longer cool. So it is completely useless. What is even more useless is the service provided. I called on Saturday and was disappointed that someone was not able to attend to my fridge on the weekend. But that was nothing. When I called the service centres (2 of them), which I did because they apparently don't contact you for a while, my nearest appointment would be about a month away. I have 2 kids. How do you survive without a fridge for a month! Waste of a fridge, waste of money. No I have to buy a new one!
Fridge on top is excellent, so easy to reach and with veg drawer in line of sight I am more likely to use them. The freezer drawers only pull out half way, and are difficult to organise as they are too narrow to insert my former freezer storage trays. Hard to see, or retrieve what is in there, without pulling half the contents out. I bought this for the bigger freezer capacity, but it seems to hold less than my previous top mount fridge. Need to keep this in mind if you only shop weekly. I love the fridge, but the freezer section is disappointing. However, if you don't freeze much, it would be an excellent purchase. Recommend that you see this item in store prior to purchase to see if it suits your needs.
This has replaced a 10 year old Kelvinator. At the time it was the only left hand hinge fridge we could buy. It failed after 3 months and was repaired under warranty. Over the time we had it we had to keep lowering the fridge temperature. Replacing it with the Haier was was an easy choice. The layout is great and I was able to easily change over the hinge to the LHS to suit our kitchen. Very easy to store items as they don't get lost due to the very bright LED lighting. Meat & Veg drawers are brilliant and plenty of door storage space. No negatives to report.
Ordered the Haier 416L HRF450BW2 to replace a 18yo Fischer & Paykel and my wife loves it. Lots of room, keeps things cold. Indivicual compartments are great and door has lots of room for bottles, milk, etc. Original star rating I think mentioned it was 4.5, then on a Customer Support advice it said it was a 4 but when it arrived it had 3.5 star tag on the fridge door, but still happy with it. Delivery was free, it was next day (how amazing is that) and was kept informed on its delivery status till actual arrival. Guys who delivered it were great, put it in situ and took any packaging away - great deliver service. Highly recommend this product and buying from Apliances Online.
Nice clean and tidy design, so much room and drawers for things. It slightly bigger then our last fidge, but so much better layout, has way more storage due to design. Good fridge for less than a K, 5 star rating. Happy so far. Good product for the money.As most products, have a good look at everything when you unpack, ther was a couple bits that had manufacturer flaws... I took 1 star off for this reason. Goodguys took care of it immediately. Great customer service.
This is my first fridge with the freezer on the bottom. Pros of this fridge is the colour, the fridge space is huge, the door shelves are wider than I thought and can hold most bottles of drink/jars etc comfortably with the door still feeling sturdy when opening and shutting (ie things arent rattling everywhere) and it is quiet. The cons are that there are three freezer drawers - one ok depth one and two shallower ones. It took some rearranging to fit everything. There is also not an ice cube tray built in and you have to open the freezer door the whole way to pull the drawers out. But overall this isnt the biggest deal as the fridge is utilised more often than the freezer. Overall I am happy with the purchase.
