Purchased as a replacement so the main criteria was the bench cut-out size. It does the job adequately and I'm happy with the performance. The auto-shut-off feature is helpful when water over-boils, and the timer function is also handy.Unfortunately the underside of the appliance heats up a fair bit more than our previous cooktop, so the items in the drawer underneath get quite warm. Certainly not to a dangerous level, but much warmer than our old cooktop. If I'm using the cooktop for longer periods I try to leave the top drawer open to allow the warm air to escape, but this means that the noise from the underside is also louder which is a little annoying.It does the job so I'm satisfied with it, but will choose a different model for my next purchase.

This unit works great replaced our existing unit straight swap out. 5 stars for the unit. 0 stars for The Good Guys. I will never ever purchase another electronic item from these criminals. They took 3 months after telling me the unit was in stock. Logged to the wrong store. Did not pay me the real cash or the Paypal cash back. Passed on to so many people and they wouldnt help instore because it was an online order. This is not the first time. Avoid TGG at all costs.
