Neat little unit, very handy, the drawer system is excellent for finding things. Sides of freezer got quite hot when starting up, but cooled down in operation. A little expensive for a Chinese product, but Haier seem to have improved their product in recent times.

This company provided excellent service with both a freezer and washing machine purchased recently. Delivery was prompt with both appliances delivered and installed on the same day although they were purchased on different weeks. As well as setup and installation. The old appliances are also removed. I recommend the company whole heartedly

I would have thought would last longer than 6 years. Just lost an entire freezer of items as it was slowly thawing out whilst away.
This vertical freezer is fantastic - Great size for a one person household. I like to buy extra food when it's at a good price, this freezer is perfect. It makes a little noise but that's okay because I have it out in my garage.

Our old upright freezer bit the big one and in it’s last two weeks sent the power bill Sky high and thawed not only our food, but about $400 worth of bait. Once again we got on to Appliances Online and bought this Haier. It is so quiet we have put it in the office. The separate draws allow us to organise our food and still have enough room down at the bottom for some bait. Next day delivery and put the old one on the trolley and took it away. Thanks.
Great size for a small family of 2 or for spare meat. Surprisingly roomy.
Plenty of storage and seems to be doing what freezers do. Not so simple to get level. I have it on a concrete floor and pulling on the door sometimes brings the unit towards me on its rear wheels.
I bought the same version of this 6 years ago (HFZ-175HA HAIER VERTICAL FREEZER 175L) and it's just died overnight - freezer full of food gone. Some sort of warning alarm would be handy if the temperature drops above a certain level for a certain amount of time - at least you'd have a chance to save your food rather than finding out the hard way. It’s not the same as if your TV or toaster stops working – when a freezer stops working you loose food. I know it’s out of warranty, but a 6-year old fridge isn’t *that* old – no reply from Haier Customer Care. I hope this one lasts longer.
