I purchased this for my daughter to wear for a special occasion. She had tried the product on her hand in the store and was impressed with it. When she applied it to her eyelids, it dragged and crumbled a bit (she does have slightly dry eyelids) and did not apply evenly. When she went back over the area, the tip of the crayon broke off. The crayon no longer had a point and she was forced to smash up the broken tip between her fingers and apply it that way, and she did not have the kind of control she would have had with a functional eye crayon. The color was beautiful on her, but now she has glitter EVERYWHERE and I do not think what is left of the crayon is usable unless she uses the break-and-smash technique.

I was so excited for these. I use eye pencils from a bunch of different brands, almost daily. The top of the stick snapped off the first time I used it. It seems like the product is too loose or isn't mixed well enough. I didn't even twist it up but it still snapped off. I thought maybe it was just mine, but I have seen others have the same issue. :(

I have almost every color. They are versitile and easy to use and blend. Be careful and don't push too hard (really that goes for any eye shadow stick) I have sensitive watery eyes and these don't bother me and they stay on my hooded eyelids as well as when I use them as liner on the bottom lash line and outer v.

These are so beautiful. I bought 5 of them (Champagne Snowflake, Fauxbot, The Dreamies, Cloud Kid, and Punk Pony) Fauxbot was beautiful but came broken. The only one that was a little dissapointing was the purple. The rest are so perfect.
I've only used this alone without primer, but the sparkle is so cute and colour is a beautiful pay-off, it does appear to wear off quickly (roughly 4 hours) though that is without help. Overall I love it, it's so convenient to have a multidimensional shadow in crayon form. Is a softer crayon than most.
I have this in every color because the payoff is great and the shimmer is awesome....that said, every single one of these have broke despite trying everything to keep it from happening. I don't twist it up, I use very little pressure, but without fail the product either crumbles, snaps off, or comes flying out of the tube when I pull the cap off for the first time. I am humbly begging Half Magic to fix this, because I really enjoy the product otherwise! Sadly, until these issues are resolved, I have a hard time recommending (at this price point) something that seems to be consistently defective/hard to work with.
Not sure why everyones is breaking? Maybe dont roll it up so far? Lol ive had zero issues with this product, in fact im ober the moon about the performance! I want more shades! This glided on easily for a tooper or sheer wash over the eyelid. But my favorite way to use it is in the inner corner or lower lash line! The lasting power is insane and the sparkle is drool worth! I wouldn't let the bad reviews deter you, they sound like iser error to me. I highly recommend this product!
I purchased this in the shade Punk Pony, described as navy slate. It ended up looking like a dull grey on my skintone. I normally look great in cool tones, but this was lackluster. I returned it. Also, the formula wore off easily, which surprised me, even on primer. It was definitely not sparkly like I wanted.
I got the champagne shade and I'm totally obsessed. I slapped it on my eyelids and it stays put throughout the day, even without primer. but actually, my favorite use for this now is as a sparkly, highly portable highlight - it reminds me a lot of the Fenty Diamond Bomb, just in a stick format and not quite as "wet"-looking. it's fantastic as a neutral inner corner highlight, too. but yes... very sparkly, unsurprisingly, so if you're here for that, I definitely recommend it. looking forward to trying the other shades.
