Halo II - Pullover Headband Teal

Halo Headbands perform better than any other headband on the market - guaranteed! They keep sweat and sunscreen out of your eyes and off your glasses while racing, training or working out. All products feature the patented watertight seal that keeps sweat out of your eyes and the non-slip surface keeps the band in place. Its lightweight, durable, abrasion resistant and will not lose shape. The headbands feature two thin layers of DRYLINE fabric to evaporate sweat away. Even if the band becomes completely saturated, the SWEAT-BLOCK technology redirects the sweat to the sides allowing you to see clearly, all the time. It fits comfortably under helmets and hats and is hand or machine washable. One size fits all. Recommendation. Our recommendation is that if your head size is larger than 58cm, consider the Halo Headband tie version for a more comfortable fit.

Fast delivery and received in good condition. Received today and used it for my run and workout today as well. Headband really does it's job. I perspire a lot and this Headband manage to hold the sweat well and the rubber strip will prevent my sweaty face dropping onto my eyes. The material is cooling. Only thing is my forehead have the rubber strip marking after removed it. Yes, it is a good Headband that does it's purpose well.

Bought this for my husband as part of his Christmas present this year. He is a mad cyclist but found ordinary sweat bands useless after a while at keeping the sweat from getting in his eyes. He is competitive and so does a lot of training. He is thrilled with this sweatband, and it does everything it says it will do. Very happy husband. BTW - delivery progress updated constantly throughout the process; very comforting just before Christmas!!

I forgot my Halo Headband at home on a recent MTB ride and I can say it was not an enjoyable adventure. It didn't take long before sweat ran into my eyes and ruined my ride. It got so bad I crashed because I couldn't see clearly.I was out for a morning ride today wearing my Halo Headband and didn't have to stop once because the Halo Headband worked perfectly! "I can see!" I now think of my Halo as safety gear (PPE) ;-)I'm sold and will ensure I have a few hidden in my bike gear so I always have one for every ride.

Indispensable Bit of Gear
25 June 2021

First off - I don't work for Halo. I'm an enthusiastic user for many years. Have you ever biked hard on hot days over long distances and had sweat dripping down into your eyes - I have. A number of years ago I was in a bike store in the US and thought - hey, these would be cool if they actually work. Taking a chance I bought a Halo Headbend. Well, cool doesn't start to cover it - it did work better than I could have ever expected. Riding around town or riding across Spain several times, this little strip of rubber (or whatever it is) made my riding so much more enjoyable. I'd still get hot but at least my eyes weren't itching from sweat and washed off sunscreen. I'll be using the Anti-Freeze Band when back country skiing this year. Despite the temperature being below 0 degrees C (or 32 F) you still sweat like crazy when climbing. Looking forward to warm ears and no sweat in the eyes at the same time. Clever little piece of equipment that's worth every penny you pay.

Quite good but not perfect

I tend to sweat quite a bit and I am a salty sweater, which means that any sweat which runs into my eyes tends to be quite painful and hazardous when riding. As far as I’ve discovered, there isn’t any such thing as a perfect solution, but this headband has been a big help. Even when riding in temperatures in excess of 90 degrees in high humidity I’ve noticed a significant reduction in the amount of sweat dripping into my eyes. The band itself does a good job of absorbing sweat and it seems the silicone strip does a reasonably good job of diverting sweat to the temple area. The biggest downside to the band that I’ve discovered so far is that it does not retain elasticity terribly well, especially over the course of a long ride. The biggest downside to the band that I’ve discovered so far is that it does not retain elasticity terribly well, especially over the course of a long ride. Once wet and stretched, I find that the band tends to slip down around the sides of my head, and then presses down on the top of my ears, causing a bit of discomfort. My suspicion is that a skull cap version might resolve this.

Review of Halo II SweatBlock Headband
26 September 2024

It seemed like a great product but when I used it for long distance running, I found that it didn’t keep sweat off my forehead.I think you might have to have the band lower towards your eyebrows but that felt uncomfortable. I sweat a lot so I needed something that was going to keep the sweat out of my eyes but it made its way underneath the band to my eyes. I will not use it for running but will try it for cycling under my helmet where I do not sweat as much. Thanks

Should have bought one earlier

I've used it a couple of weeks now and am quite satisfied. It keeps the sweat out of my eyes. Its low maintenance, I rinse it after every ride and it dries quickly. I'm just not 100% sure about the size. It fits well under my helmet, since it's nice and thin, but the fit is a bit loose. On the other hand I think if it was tighter it wouldn't be as comfortable as it is. Time will tell.It probably deserved 5 stars, but it's a bit expensive.

Soaking it all up!

Nicer then I thought it was going to be honestly. Finding headbands that are super absorbent while exercising is difficult to find. I’m on zwift in a garage that gets pretty hot and it actually caught a solid amount of sweat. Now for the plastic piece on the inside i don’t know if it’s actually doing anything but I found the whole thing effective and I’ll buy more.

best solution I've found
22 March 2021

One of the most frustrating distractions during long mt bike rides in the heat of Southern California is sweat draining into my eyes ~ especially if I've accidentally put sunscreen on my forehead. Having to stop my bike mid-trail, remove my helmet to 'wring out' the forehead padding of sweat, and dab at my eyes to remove the stinging sweat and sunscreen really sucks. I've tried thicker pads in my helmet thinking they would absorb more (they do, and then they drain more into my eyes). I've tried a thick headband from my skiing / snowboarding but it doesn't fit well under my helmet and makes me even hotter and sweatier. The Halo II is the best solution I've found. Thin, superlight, fits snug but not constricting, it fits almost unnoticed under my helmet. The rubberized sweat gutter works as advertised ~ no sweat / sunscreen / stinging in my eyes while mt biking! I'm so grateful for this simply, effective, low cost solution. The only drawback is that after a few hours on the trail, the gutter does leave a dent in my forehead for half an hour ~ ha ha ~ but worth it : )

Having tried brand after brand of sweat mgmt headbands...I am thrilled to say I have finally found my 'forever product'!!!The Halo bands x 4 that I ordered on spec, arrived very fast, in excellent condition and with minimal ( important to me)but perfect packaging. Eyes saved, earbuds stay in and bands stay superbly in place. I love the yellow grip bar!!The material is soft, pliable but solid and leaves no 'ah, that was so itchy/ tight' feeling behind.A pleasure to wear :)Used for yoga and ... MoreHaving tried brand after brand of sweat mgmt headbands...I am thrilled to say I have finally found my 'forever product'!!!The Halo bands x 4 that I ordered on spec, arrived very fast, in excellent condition and with minimal ( important to me)but perfect packaging.
