Beautiful watch. I have a number of Hamilton Electrics but have been looking for a black military dial style watch and loved that this on came in a bronze case. Can't wait for it to age. The leather strap is really nice, though I swapped it for a nylon nato band because of the amount of salt water I'm near. I don't mind that it's mechanical vs automatic. I have a good number of watches so end up having to set them to wear them anyway so that doesn't bother me. Also, given my oldest mechanicals are almost a century old, I know that this is a watch I'll be able to pass down.

I have a large wrist and this watch is smaller than I would ordinarily purchase. If Hamilton were to make one in a 40mm, I would buy it in a heartbeat and give the one I purchased to my sister. Also, the strap is flimsier than I expected. The watch itself, is as expected, absolutely beautiful.

Excellent watch. Handwinding is smooth, leather nato strap is brilliant, can't wait to see some patina. Service from FCW is brilliant as always, this is my 5th watch from them and it is always a pleasure to deal with them.
Great watch for everyday wear, amazing for the price. I was worried about the size as it's a little small if you go off the spec sheet but it wears really well. Just waiting for it to patina now.
Great watch, nice size at 38mm and hand winding to give that nice connection with the watch. With the 80 hour reserve, I'm winding it every other day. Wind has a nice positive feel. The face is lovely and clear. As with the Khaki field series it has a 24 hour track inside the regular 12 hour one and the aged effect lume is really nice against the the bronze case. The bronze case is really nicely finished, bead blasted I believe, and the distressed leather NATO suits excellently. Light to wear and has a great presence on the wrist. A watch with a pedigree.Great value from Francis and Gaye and prompt delivery.
