Overall I’m happy with the mount and it works as expected. Installation was easy although it’s fiddly to mount the phone to the Quad Lock itself. Maybe it’s me and it will get easier in time. I am particularly disappointed with the case design though. Seems like it offers good protection, although the rubber feel is slippery, the front edging interferes with my ESR screen protector and the button feel/clickiness is very poor. I believe that cut outs along the rubber button edges may help with the button feel, but it is not a good case to use all the time. I use my far superior ESR case and swap for the Quad Lock case when I go out on the bike. This is something I didn’t want to have to do. I’ve been using RAM mounts for a long time on my bike and have been seeing the ads for Quadlock system for years. After getting an iPhone I was made aware of the camera sensor issue that could come from the vibrations. I felt like I was being forced to switch to this system after finding out about the vibration dampener. Well, after getting the products in my hands and setting them up and using them, I have to say I am completely convinced. The quality is too notch. I also noticed not all MagSafe chargers work with the mag case, 80% do and the rest don’t. I think it has to do with certain chargers not being strong enough with slightly added thickness of the case. No way to find out until you try so that is a bit annoying. Good Morning! Recenlty bought your product for my iphone 13 mini, for my Indian FTR 1200 Carbon R, 2020 Honda Ruckus, car holder and mountain bike. Love the product, except the two following issues. I had an Outter case, which I did Love as well. My Outter case is very easy to handle and grip in my hands. Yours is very nice, love the color, but it very hard to grab, as it slides very easily. Would be nice if it had a nice grib to hold it. Also bought the belt clip for. Wow, its a so hard and cumbersome to get that clip in your belt or pants, seems like the clip gets in the way with the locking part of it. Also, I wish you offered the option to choose the color of the lock handle, rather than just blue, as i plan to use at work. Had to purchase 2 separate black ... MoreGood Morning! The quadlock system is very well built and quite good to use. Placing the phone on the holder without looking back it is not easy, but it seams that you might get used after a while. On the back of the phone case the quadlock attachment makes difficult to attach the phone to other platforms, for example to my drone controller. For me this point was pretty annoying as I was filmmaking an on-the-road motorbikes event and everytime I had to swap from the bike holder to the drone controller was not easy. I also think there is room for improvement in the setting of the angle: you need always to carry with you an allen key to do it. For example if you are using your phone to navigate and the you want to change the angle to record a video you cannot change it so quickly. ... MoreThe quadlock system is very well built and quite good to use. I just installed the stem mount pro on my 2006 Yamaha FZ6 with some modification to make it work. I have yet to drive with it since there’s still snow on the ground but I have no doubts about it. The quality is great and the iPhone case is solid. I feel completely safe with riding and my phone being held in by this mount. I am a little disappointed that I can’t use the poncho and a screen protector at the same time but it makes sense as to why they both don’t really work together. I am very happy with everything and I’ve even purchased more from quad lock because of it. So back to Verizon for a new premium $40 Zagg glass screen protector.That fixed the touchscreen, but I still had the “clumsy” feel of the phone case. So I used the exacto knife to cut out the touchscreen area of the poncho. Now I have the “grippy” feel of the poncho, and can actually use the phone. So now I’m discovering the rubber camera protector part of the poncho, on the back of the phone, is getting scratched and distorting my pictures. I’ll probably have to cut that out next. Then I’ll just have a rubbery, flimsy (basically a loose rubber band) wrapped around a clumsy feeling (but very expensive) phone case. If I wasn’t already $200 into it, (or could go back in time) I would go with a different handlebar mount system.

This was something I enjoyed about the Rokform. Lastly, the case is very basic and smooth, and I like it, but added design on ergonomics would be a nice luxury. Overall, I recommend buying this product to save some money, protect your phone, and to have the ability to add extra features like wireless charging and added environmental protection while in more extreme environments. Being able to buy a basic package and later upgrade it is a huge benefit as well.
I bought a handlebar mount, a vibration damper, a waterproof magnetic charge head and a USB charger. There is no way to bolt this lot together with the supplied hardware. It appears I have to buy more bolts. That's OK, but then, having already spent almost £200, I now have to pay extra for shipping of the bolts. Why was this not explained when I bought the whole shebang. I could easily have added the bolts to the order and been able to bolt it all together. So far, my complaints to QuadLock customer service have been answered by folks who clearly don't understand my version of the English language. 'Do it like this' they say. I'm trying, believe me, but there is not a bolt long enough with any of the bits I ordered and I am still waiting to get it all fitted.
