Kids love it! The only problem is the paper money keeps slipping behind the tray and there is no way to remove tray without unscrewing. Tipping upsidedown and wiggling usually aids in removal. Nice to have a non battery powered item. Encourages early writting skills as the children can hand write a receipt - no pencil provided.

Beautiful yet not too practical

It’s very aesthetically pleasing and beautiful. But the string that connects to the scanner and card machine keeps coming off. Also, the paper part is too wasteful. Kids draw a few lines and then want to throw it away and so we need to keep providing paper. We might laminate a few pieces so they can be cleaned and reused.

Cash register

This is a great wooden toy. It’s solid wood and a bit heavy. The register opens and it also includes a “credit card” that can be swiped. We’ve had it for over 6 months and my 3 year old still gravitates to it as she loves to play “shop.” I did put the toy money that came with it away because coins are too small and pose a chocking hazard for my youngest.

Hape Till - Wooden Checkout

I purchased this for my 4 year old daughter who loves to play shops. It was the best price I found on the internet, for a brand product that I believe in. The till itself is just perfect it's well made, and has so far withstood the rough handling of our two year old. It comes with loads of pretend money for play. It was easy to put together. My daughter was particularly taken by the pad of paper it came with, and has enjoyed "writing" her important notes on them! Overall I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking to buy a till for little shop keepers.

Hape wooden till

I asked my 2 1/5 daughter what she thought and she says "I love my new till". Everything by this brand seems really stand up well to toddler play. We've put some new paper on it for receipts and swapped the smaller coins for larger. We all like it because it's not full of noises and lights so she has to use her own voice and imagination. I chose this one in particular because it looks more modern than most wooden tills, with a scanner and card machine.

I bought this till based on the other reviews. I have not been disappointed. I was initially surprised by how big it is but it is a fantastic little till which my boys adore playing shops with.

Perfect toy for both boys and girls

I was looking for something like this but mostly made of plastic. Finally I found this one with perfect quality price ratio, too. All perfect! It would be also perfect as a birthday gift, as well.

The Best Till on the Market!

I looked at a lot of tills before settling with this one. I absolutely love this till! It is really solid and I\'m sure it will last my daughter as long as she wants to play with it. The buttons have a nice depth, making them really satisfying to push. Owing to the quality, I find this outstanding value for money!
