apologies for late feedback, just had time now to install the HDD. naka board up and bubble wrapped. HDD was in sealed plastic, courier handled it with care. Upon booting, the HDD did not detect. I reformatted it and it worked. hope this last long.

I've installed Seagte Skyhawk 2TB in my DVR which has 9 wireless cctv cameras. I'm very impressed on the performance of Seagate Skyhawk. As a recommendation, it is important to factor in the quality of the hard drive and the wireless router to support the DVR. \n\nHighly recommended. There are times when you buy here in Lazada the decision swinger are the freebies as prices are almost the same. But it is simply disappointing when the seller sends you a message that we will be giving you a smart watch because we ran out of freebies only to find out that even the alternative freebie is not included. Or is it really part of their marketing plan to say they will give something extra but will not. When you run a marketing program you must ensure that you have ample supply of good
No more auto-restart because of heat generated by using PC's HDD, surveillance HDD solved the problem. But just to make it sure and extend the life of the HDD and DVR, I also put 2 exhaust/cooling fan. Thank you.
The drive arrived next day, it was a straight swap in our Swann DVR system so it was fitted and running in a few minutes
