Excellent light,. Work night s and this torch provides an excellent all round light, get 1-2 to 2 nights use from batteries , ones supplied by work so not the best (2 nights from batteries supplied) but may be helped if the difference between the two light levels was slightly more.? .I am waiting for the release of the rechargeable torch any day. Two issues that may be particular to my use are that the zoom facility does not reduce to a more accurate beam as previous torches have. I have to slide it back to get the best result (useful for finding fuses at the top of energy poles) but still not the best for my useThe second which is definitely related to me is the unit head elastics are very small , now i do have a big head,no jokes please haha, but although I ... But as I say issues that are particular to my use. But I await the next gen torch where battery life may not be such a issue and in the meantime this torch proves to be an excellent addition to my toolkit.

I've recently purchased your 10w LED Headlamp from Mystery Creek Fieldays and just wanted to let you know how happy I am with it!On the weekend I was out shooting and we had shot one which got caught on a branch over a quite a deep creek, thinking there was a ledge partway down the bank I jumped down to grab it, falling straight through what I thought was a ledge straight into the brown, murky creek which up past my shoulders. I had my headlamp on my head as I plunged into the water, i quickly found the nearest log and scanned where I had fallen off about a 5 metre drop, as I looked in the water in the water i saw a big beam of light coming from the water my HEADLAMP!! It took me 10 minutes to get the nerve to go back in to retrieve it. ( the water was really cold ... ( the water was really cold and my fear of eels ) the headlamp kept shining bright I was impressed and so were my mates.I am pleased with the quality headlamp that I brought and will be definitely telling more people about it.

I bought this partly out of curiosity. I have a very similar Led Lensor torch. When I received the Hard Korr I find that it is almost identical to the Led Lensor with similar power rating. The difference tho is that the Hard Korr is $35 is compared to the Led Lensor - which is around $200. I used it on a camping trip the other week and it was excellent. I would definitely recommend this torch.

This headlamp is really great value. It is nice and bright, without being overly hungry on batteries (still using the ones that came with it). With the battery pack on the rear, it feels light and well balanced. The front light tilts and stays in position. Just a great all round light. I use it all the time in the garden when not away camping.
Okay so i have noticed the batteries dont last long enough, i have been a few times gone fishing at night and after like 2 or 3 hrs the brightest level it goes very dark and dim. In my opinion i wouldnt pay for it. Unless you got like 12 batteries (3 uses) with you to change them when it goes dark. If it wasnt so bad it would be a great head torch and i would recommend it to anyone.
We have had our first one for more than 2 years now and is still going strong. The batteries last long. The only comment I can make is that the one of the band going across the top of your head did start tearing but it gets used daily so I would say it is fair wear and tear. We recently bought another one. I will definitely recommend this product. It is not often that you find this type of product to last this long. Many other headlamp brands don't last 6 months.
I purchased this for surf fishing and it has not disappointed me. It is very bright and well-made. I strongly recommend using only lithium batteries. You can pick up a pack of 4 energiser ultimate lithium AA batteries at bunnings for $10. Do NOT use alkaline or rechargeables or you will be disappointed with the dropoff in the discharge curve after 1-2 hours. I know because i tested them. The lithiums were used non-stop for 4 hours straight on the highest setting while surf fishing with no decrease in output and there was still power remaining at the end of the session. Happy days.
Great value for money. Super bright at 850 lumens. Don`t waste your doe ray me on the cheap stuff that will only frustrate you. A little heavy but who cares, I bought it for the illumination factor so I can see what the hell I`m doing down the creek at midnight when I`m catching bait and also when I am watching my rod tips at night for bites. The headlight comes with battery's which is a added bonus and has a adjustable beam that you twist on the front to your desire. There`s one switch on the side. First button press is max illumination, second button press is AE(area effect) and the third button press is when your bored and feel like partying .... strobe light. Forth button press turns it off then you just repeat and rinse to cycle through the settings again. If ... MoreGreat value for money. Super bright at 850 lumens. If illumination is what you seek and a product that doesn`t fizzle out in the rain (waterproof to ip66) go no further my friends than this little gem.....now if they only made headphones as good as this sigh..
I was a little disappointed initially as I feel the quality isnt quite there. The battery 'box' seems a little flimsy. Hopefully it holds up.It throws good light. Looking forward to giving it a proper test.
In principle...strong lighting changes the notion of aggression and deter an attack against a person's personal space. The korr head light is ideal to have on as of using it where there is poor lighting or in the mists of poor intentions..I highly recommend this headlight in its multi function from its strobe lighting and its consolidation using an appropriate lighting for administrating ones personal requirements..
