Robust short boot with very cushy insole; no break-in period required. It is a larger fit, even for broad-footed and high-arched people like me, so go a half or full size under what you would do for a regular shoe. The velcro tab over the top of the zip is cheap and almost an after-thought; but at this price, I can live with that.

I purchased the Hard Yakka safety boot over 3 month ago. From the very start they were comfortable and, you can clearly see, they live up to the name and reputation that Hard Yakka has built a reputation for. Truth be told they were so much cheaper than other reputable safety boots but i think they are every bit as good.

I have had my boots about 12 months. Comfort was the top criteria when purchasing and it turned out they were $99. They are THE most comfortable boots I have ever worn and are used 7 days a week in a harsh trade building site environment. I would have no hesitation in purchasing again or recommending these boots. Get yourself a pair you will not be sorry
Have used these boots for 18 months now and I've had to use them hard. Overall not well thought out for the price. The shoe's lower half is great, the upper is poorly designed.The zip is annoying, isn't quite placed right to easily put the shoe on, and never stays up. The neoprene cover on top of the zip is a joke, doesn't do anything and is almost destroyed. The eyelets for the laces are a bad shape and cut through the laces. Laces have repeatedly worn out way too quickly.Shoe tread is worn flat, hasn't lasted very long and I've just starting to wear out the inner heel from taking them on and off.That said, its a very comfortable shoe to wear especially if you're on your feet all day and the wide toe is great, just wouldn't recommend on a construction site, ... MoreHave used these boots for 18 months now and I've had to use them hard. i bought these bad boys a couple of weeks ago and have found them to be the most comfortable safety boots that I have ever worn. Their firm yet cushion-like inner soles are all about comfort; when taking them for their first spin I felt like I had worn them in already.The steel toe is exactly what you'd expect in terms of reliability from Hard Yakka, along with the anti-slip functionality.The beauty of these boots is I can wear them anywhere, whether it be work or recreation. They're tough enough to withstand day to day work, and aesthetically pleasing to the point that you'll want to wear them everywhere outside of work.Good one, Yakka. I'll be wearing these bad boys for years.
On my second pair. Great lightweight boots that are just as strong as the competition.I love that they are low-cut around the ankle and have a large zip. Pretty much on par with the Steel Blue "Parkes" model, for half the price!
Not too bad.... i have worn plenty of other brands over 30 years. These are not top of the list though. But they are a great price and i can now report that after doing some 12 hr days on site up n down stairs, concrete floors and walking up to 8 kms a day they are comfortable enough. And my feet are a bit on the old side too . Good zip helps .
Worn these every day for a month and they're excellent. More comfortable than boots twice the price. Easy on and off, great fit, good for walking and standing for hours. Can't fault them at all.
