I haven't had gummy bears in foreverrrrr! I decided that I would like to have some because I bought some fiber gummies and they tasted so good that I got a craving for some gummy bears! Haha. I knew they had to be Haribo brand because I just automatically started thinking about that little jingle that used to come on tv all the time. I found that they were a bit tough to chew. My least favorite gummies were the pineapple ones. I felt like they should have had some purple (grape) ones in there. This is the first bag of candy that I've bought in years, so I'm probably being overly critical, but I just don't really eat a lot of sweets.

When we are looking for a special sweet treat, Haribo gold bears are a top favorite. We first tried them when traveling to Europe and became hooked! Now it is much easier to find them here in the US as they are in many stores like Target, Vons, CVS, and Walmart. One of the best things about this candy is that they are not too sweet. The bears are also firm and chewy making them last longer. Yum. Now I want some!

They’re not the official Gummi Bears, but this company makes a pretty good gummy candy at value prices. As usual with this type of candy, there’s not a big variety of flavors in each bag, just 5: pineapple, lemon, raspberry, orange and strawberry. With this giant-sized bag of Haribo Gummy Bears though, there seemed to be a noticeable imbalance between the flavors. I don’t know if that’s typical, or if it’s just in the bag I purchased. It’s just a giant bag of loose gummy bears. For this reason, I’d recommend divvying up the contents into smaller Ziplock snack or sandwich bags, to preserve freshness. Also to prevent children from constantly reaching their sticky little hands into the bag getting germs all over the family supply of gummy bears, I’d also recommend pre-packaging them into individual serving sizes. This also enables you to have portion control. This product would be nice to give (or get) as a “secret Santa” gift or as a stocking-stuffer for someone who REALLY likes gummy bears. Another possible uses is for decorating a themed birthday cake, but other than that this item’s uses are somewhat limited.Since the candy is loose not individually wrapped into fun-size amounts, once you open it, the “freshness clock” starts running. Unless the candy is consumed in a timely manner, it becomes overly chewy, tough and stale you’ll probably end up throwing the rest away opting for the smaller bags next time. Also, because the candies are loose and not individually packaged, this item is definitely not a suitable choice of candy to give away as treats to Trick-Or-Treaters on Halloween.

These Haribo Gummy Bear snacks are delicious and literally my favorite candy. They just taste so darn good. The colors are very cute and they just seem to have like the right amount of sweetness to them without being too sweet. I can literally eat a whole bag in just one sitting maybe even two bags and that's shameful but it is the truth. Anytime I go to the market I always bring back a couple of bags just to have stashed around the house.

Even when sad these are great
23 May 2023

I recently tried these gummy bears and they were amazing! The flavors were so fruity and delicious. I loved how chewy they were and they didn't stick to my teeth like other gummy candies. They were the perfect snack to satisfy my sweet tooth. I also appreciated that they were made with natural ingredients and didn't contain any artificial flavors or colors. I would definitely recommend these gummy bears to anyone looking for a tasty and guilt-free treat. They're perfect for snacking on-the-go or for satisfying a late-night craving. Overall, a great product that I will definitely be purchasing again.

Haribo Goldbears: Exploring the Kosher Twist!
10 May 2023

I had the opportunity to try the Kosher version of Haribo Goldbears Gummi Candy, and I must say that while there were noticeable differences in the ingredients list, the taste remained fairly consistent with the original, non-Kosher version. For those unfamiliar with the concept, Kosher certification ensures that a product adheres to specific dietary laws and requirements of the Jewish faith. While I don't personally follow Judaism, I had no qualms about trying the Kosher version, as I believe in exploring different variations of foods. The most significant difference I found between the Kosher and non-Kosher versions was, unsurprisingly, the ingredients list. While I don't personally follow Judaism, I had no qualms about trying the Kosher version, as I believe in exploring different variations of foods. The most significant difference I found between the Kosher and non-Kosher versions was, unsurprisingly, the ingredients list. The Kosher version incorporates ingredients that comply with the dietary laws, which may result in some variations from the original recipe. However, the taste itself didn't differ significantly, and I found it to be just as enjoyable as the regular version. One aspect to note is that the Kosher version tends to be slightly pricier compared to its non-Kosher counterpart. This is understandable since additional costs are involved in obtaining Kosher certification and maintaining separate manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with Kosher standards. If supporting the Kosher certification process is important to you, the slight price difference shouldn't be a deterrent. In summary, trying the Kosher version of Haribo Goldbears Gummi Candy is not going to provide a vastly different experience compared to the non-Kosher version. The taste remains largely consistent, and while there are discernible differences in the ingredients list, they don't alter the overall enjoyment of the candy. So, if you're curious about trying the Kosher version, go ahead and give it a try, but don't expect any radical changes that would necessitate calling home to discuss the experience.

Little Bears, Big Flavors!
6 December 2020

Maybe I am a bit biased in the fact that I am a very big fan of fruit flavored gummy candies, so I thoroughly enjoy anything of that nature, these included. Haribo is a great company that makes some of my favorite fun gummy treats and I love them a lot. Their flavors are delightful and full and the experience you have when enjoying these gummy bears is super nostalgic and fun and whimsical. Haribo is not just a deliciously flavored gummy option but its also always marketed at a very fair price point. I would have loved to give these a five star review today but there is one unfortunate quality to these sweet little bears and that is that they are quite difficult to chew upon. I would have loved to give these a five star review today but there is one unfortunate quality to these sweet little bears and that is that they are quite difficult to chew upon. With some mandible work its possible to obliterate the poor bears into an ingestible state but golly it can make your jaw hurt in quite a short time. I am not a fan of gummies that are too soft either though, theres a special middle ground to what a superb gummy Candy is supposed to be textured like and its pretty fair to say that most gummy products dont hit that sweet spot anyways so this difficult chewing quality isn't exactly the biggest gripe in the world for me to be honest. All in all Haribo is definitely a Candy brand I can get behind, they are often products I purchase during my routine grocery trips because I love sweets! The flavor is going to be the biggest winner for these gummy bears, it will trump any complaint I feel like, because they are quite good. I highly recommend Haribo Gummy Bears to anyone with high expectations for gummy flavors! I am writing this review today as someone who received this product as a sample in a kit through a sample box service that I am a part of, but would like to clarify that I have been purchasing and supporting Haribo for many years of my life and even for years throughout my childhood and am not giving any good review for any compensation whatsoever, this review is an honest and sincere personal opinion and I hope that it can help whoever might be considering trying this product, who has not already tried it, make the final decision.

Lots of flavor that's sure to make anyone smile.

Hands down I'm a self proclaimed Haribo gummi candy fanatic!! No doubt that you'll find empty packages in every purse, backpack, nightstand, dresser, pantry, car and in any other location where I've paused to indulge myself with any number of Haribo gummi products. My favorites are the watermelon and cheerios. Recently, a sampling program called Pinchme sent me a small sample of Haribo's Gold Bears. The new flavors didn't disappoint. Like all their previous flavors, the new ones are long lasting and satisfying. I'm impressed by how flavorable and long lasting each candy (bear) is. On taste alone, these bears easily score 5 out 5. As far as texture? That really comes down to a personal preference. The Gold Bears do not have the "soft" description and tend to be harder to chew than some of their other gummi candies. I enjoy them as a soft hard candy. While the Gold Bears are not my first choice in the Haribo's brand, I will definitely buy them again and recommend them to others. They make an excellent addition to a gift for someone of any age!!

Needs Work (and Less Fusion)
27 September 2023

I ate most of them already, so there is little evidence that can verify that some of the gunmy bears were fused together. The ones that weren't fused weren't overly sour to me, which is just my take on how sour it was. I've had other sour candies before, other brands of gunmy candies included.I've purchased this product at other stores before, but this was the first time I bought it from here.If they were made aware of the fused, white colored gummies and didn't care about the possibility of coming across them, and the friend had enough in common with this product, I'd recommend it.

Not overly sour, but very sticky
22 May 2022

We received these as a substitute for regular Haribo bears as part of a pickup order. Initially, I was really unhappy to see "sour" in the name, as sour candies can be really overpowering. I was happy to find these to taste more like regular bears dusted with superfine SweeTARTS dust—not overpoweringly sour at all. If you're looking for a Sour Patch Kids kind of sour you will probably be disappointed with the level of sourness. They were fine, but I wouldn't choose them again, not because of the sour nature of them, but because of the way all of the pieces stuck together in one big mass in the bag. There are no loose bears in the package. You have to pull them off the glob of bears.
