Works great and is alot faster,lighter, and less fragile than the ceramic cone I was using. The Melita filter papers are usable but don't really fit this cone and I will be ordering the correct filters when they are gone

Wonderful! I have a plastic one for traveling, a ceramic one for home, and bought one for my girlfriend too. The Hario filters are the way to go too.The dripper is so well known that when I was visiting Durango this summer the guy in the coffee shop did a custom grind for my Hario!
My dripper from another brand broke so it was the perfect excuse to pick up this one! So easy to use and clean. Using my remaining #2 filters from another brand and it works fine if you fold it. Shipped super quick and well packaged. Thanks so much!!!
I like that it’s porcelain and not plastic, and the shape and size are quite good. But the base should have a small window in it so one can see how full the cup is getting. I’m getting used to how much water to pour over for each cup I have (so many, so different…), but a window in the base would be a good design choice. By the way, basket filters made into a cone shape work pretty well. Thank you.
I just ordered the new metal Hario V60 coffee drippers and they are, by far, the best version of the 02-sized drippers that I have used. Previously, I have used the clear plastic, colored plastic, and ceramic. We have successfully broken every ceramic one, which is my preferred dripper because it heats nicely in the prep phase of the pour over, compared to the plastic. The plastic ones have held up pretty well but do degrade and break over time. Finally, Hario solved all the problems with this metal pour over dripper--it holds heat; it won't break, and the rubber grommet keeps the dripper from sliding around. I never thought a pour over dripper could bring me so much joy!

I was very excited to get this one and enjoyed the heck out of it for several weeks. Then, unfortunately, I dropped it on the kitchen floor and it broke into a million pieces. I will get another one. I'm saving up to replace it now (it's not expensive but my budget is tight). Just know that I love this coffee dripper enough that I have a French press, a moka, 2 other coffee drippers of different brands.. and even though I use all three right now in rotation while I'm waiting to buy a replacement V60, they never measure up. These are good, inexpensive Hario pour over drippers. The plastic ones do not require preheating like the ceramic models. I bought a 02 size and a 03 for larger batches. Both are going to see a lot of use.
I was happily using my ceramic V60 for years until it broke. Decided to try the steel model. While it has almost exactly the same internal shape, there are a couple of differences:1. It gets hotter than the ceramic version, which might mean more heat is being lost while brewing2. The bottom of the dripper is lower compared to the flange. If you brew up to the top of your mug, a fair amount of the bottom of the filter will end up dipping into the coffeeAnyway, it's still a well-made dripper that can brew a great cup of coffee.
