Looks great! Weighs pretty good as well. Love the mood lightings. Sound quality is superb, instruments are clearly defined, unlike the previous version, sound all cramped together. I compared this to the marshal speakers side by side, in my opinion, this is better. Definitely recommended. Seller was quick to pack and ready the product. Packaging was nicely wrapped. Qxpress, took quite sometime to pick it up. Ordered Friday noon, received it Tuesday evening.

They remain smooth and soft as ever. I like the design of the headband even though they don't conform to the shape of the head and protrude outward from the temple, a design flaw I hate on headphones. The clamp force is adequate, something I think is important on headphones (an issue I had with the LIVE series and E series) as it helps create adequate seal thereby minimizing sound leakage. Seeing as this is an On-Ear headphone, that clamp force equates to sore ears, I would know because mine did hurt. This is one of the areas Over-Ear headphones shine. This is not to say the 700s are unusable, no, with time they'll adjust and conform to your ears. The exposed wires I don't mind, to me, it gives it that retro-like look aesthetically. Speaking of aesthetics, this one is well crafted I'll give them that, JBL hasn't really been ones to make innovative headphones, design-wise. In fact, their CLUB and TOUR series is the best amongst all in their drawer in my opinion. The mix of plastic and metal on the 700 I don't mind, its good looks alleviates this "mismatch" and the matte-black colour tops it off. On the left earcup there's the Power, Bluetooth and Ambient aware/Talktru button respectively. On the right is the Volume up, Pause, Volume down and Bass enhancer button respectively. The volume up also serves as a skip button and volume down as a previous button during playback by holding them for a few seconds. The pause button can also be used to pick and drop phone calls. Weight shouldn't be a problem, you'll feel them on but they won't weigh your head down. The headphone's proper fold mechanism when wanting to stow them away is a tad complicated, if you aren't careful you will damage them. I suggest simply folding in the earcups and just leave it at that.BATTERYBattery life, at a whopping 50 hrs, is adequate enough and the charge speed even makes it more fantastic. I tested them for 2 weeks, in the first week I used them for 23 hrs total stretched over four days and they only dropped to 90%. Upon continuous usage for another few days they hit the 60% mark before I charged them up again. It only took around 15 minutes to juice it back up to 100%.CONNECTIONConnection is stable, the headphones use Bluetooth 5.0 even though it's not the latest version on the market but it still gets the job done. Also, this allows for simultaneous connection with two devices. I did notice, however, that walking away from the device being connected to brings about a breakup in connection and you begin to hear a cracking sound, so to avoid this I carry my device along. I should also note that the auto-off feature is an understated feature, it has come in handy in more ways than one and I wish other headphones will come with this as a standard feature. It can only be enabled through the JBL's headphone App by going into the app's settings. The Bluetooth codec is SBC with support for iOS' AAC codec, they do not support the apt-X codec series nor Sony's LDAC.SOUNDSound is good without any sound setting whatsoever. They sound great actively but a little faint passively unless you excessively increase the volume, although I suspect this might be dependent on the device being used. Listening with my laptop passively, this wasn't an issue, the sound was mesmerizing even at a mere 20% volume. Lows, mids and highs all came through to my very surprise. In the song We Only Come Out at Night by The Smashing Pumpkins, you can hear the reverberation from the heavy strungs of the guitar. In the song Yellow Flicker Beat, a soundtrack of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1 by the New Zealander Lorde, you can discern the wavering in her voice as she hummed in the intro of the song. Although I did not test the headphones in active mode with my laptop, but they should sound just as good. The JBL app is not really needed but recommend, and it's nice to see JBL offering support across all the CLUB series including the 700 as they usually leave out support for the cheapest and lower end ones in a series. With the app, you can customize sound using an already-onboard equalizer presets along with those set by a few DJs. You can also customize sound yourself through a custom preset. The bass enhancer I don't find myself using, in fact, I prefer listening as-is without any EQ enhancer whatsoever or even the app. Like stated before, they do sound good but not as good, what I mean is when I tested them against a higher-end headphone (SONY'S WH-1000XM3) the 700 left a lot to be desired in all aspects of sound but you won't know until you test them against a better headphone. Google's assistant tags along with these headphones, if device supports it you'll get a prompt notification upon first time successful connection to set up the AI which isn't difficult. The surface area on the left earcup serves to activate the assistant which I like as opposed to a dedicated button/buttons on some other headphones. Although this has proven to be a little sensitive to the slightest of touch, just turning my head on a pillow with the left earcup activates the assistant which is a tad annoying because I have to be cautious now. One situation I find useful with the earcup serving as a voice assistant activation button is when you have your hands occupied, you can just use your forearm to gently press on it. The headphones work with most voice assistants, be that Alexa, Siri or even that one Bixby. Although for Bixby, you'll have to use your voice to activate it with the good here being that it'll work even if another assistant is currently set as the default. All in all, if you're really looking to get these you should go ahead but I will suggest waiting till the price drops during holiday sales events as they are a tad expensive at their regular price.

I like that your bluetooth device connects automatically to the speaker. The sound is so clean and i like the sound of the bass. I feel that its a speaker best used for music, because when playing podcasts or radio, the voices become a bit quiet. Its overall a really good speaker with a good bass. One thing that would have given it 5/5 stars is if it came with a remote control.

Comfort is soso at first but gets better with more wears. This pair is an on ear cup so will literally sit on your outer ears. Personally in retrospect I would have chosen an over ear cup because of my use cases, but that is wholly preferential. Stays put fairly well even even doing mildly strenuous things. Probably wouldn't recommend for anything too strenuous. Looks are good, high quality materials. Ease of foundational functions and connectivity is easy, secondary functions not as intuitive with button setup. Sound quality is excellent aside from too heavy a bass profile sometimes. I wish the max volume was just a bit higher, but this is serviceable for most use cases. Only major negative is the bluetooth connectivity. For a headphone this build quality you would expect nearly flawless connectivity, instead you periodically get choppy audio or outright silence and disconnections. It's much more pervasive if you have your phone in your pocket. I understand cloth barriers impact bluetooth signal, but putting something in your pocket shouldn't make an audio experience unworkable. The problem isn't pervasive enough I felt compelled to return them as I really do like them, but I am disappointed with that aspect which is a basic tenet of the value prop for wireless headphones. Overall great headphone for the price I purchased for, good headphones price notwithstanding.

I bought these a couple of weeks ago. I know a fair bit about audio, such as distortion, frequency and drivers, but never had the money to buy pro headphones. I decided to get these as they sounded better than my Skullcandy Hesh ANC and Jlab studio ANC.Comfort: Depends. If I fit them just right, they can be very comfortable. And without glasses, they are very comfortable. But 70% of the time with glasses, they are very uncomfortable and sometimes are full on painful.Build: VERY high quality build. All the plastic has weight to it, and I have no scratches. All the plastic has weight to it, and I have no scratches. My only complaint is that each earcup has a glossy plastic ring and each of those collects fingerprints like nobody's business. The earcup arms are both made of nice aluminum and the adjustable headband arms are made from metal. One thing be aware of is that when you fold them their unique way, you may feel like you may break them. Don't worry, as they are specifically designed to do this, and the inside of the earcup arms have rubber pieces to protect the plastic. To put it lightly, they are very well built.Sound: They sound good and clear, and even have a little bit of soundstage, however they have too much bass by default. Now is it fun? Yes, very. And the mids and treble manage not to suffer auditory masking, but its still a lot. And you can change the EQ in the Jbl headphones app, but I'd rather keep the sound the same. You can also do a 15 to 20 minute quiz to make a custom driver map, and for those who are wondering, you can tell it how much audio lingo you know.Connection and app: Connection is reliable, but doesn't have the best range when it comes to devices with Bluetooth 5.0. App is good, however for those hoping, it isn't all that feature packed. You can do the aforementioned hearing quiz, change the EQ, and set your personal assistant. That's about it except for the updates. You may be wonder about the Stage+ feature, and if you want the headphones for this, don't buy them. Only one EQ preset remains, and they are only EQ settings, so not very exiting. ONE THING TO BE AWARE OF: The headphones may lock up if you finesse with the virtual assistants to much, but they fix themselves if you hold the power button for a while. Otherwise, the might unlock by themselves.Summary: At 60 dollars, I would HIGHLY recommend these headphones because of the customizabilaty, sound, and excellent build quality. Don't buy these if you want extreme comfort or if really want to use Stage+.

There's a "talk through" feature that let's you press a button and hear what someone is saying and respond without removing the headset. This is a real plus! How many times have you been listening to your music or your favorite audiobook, only to have someone come and start talking? With other headsets, you've gotta at least take the set off of one ear so that you can hear the other person and respond without screaming. Well, you don't have that problem with the Club 700! Also, there's a bass boost button, if you're into bass like I am. Just press the button and you get a noticeable bass boost. The 700's have great battery life - 50 hours. My only issue with the headset is that they are sort of heavy. The great build comes at a price. You get used to it after a while, but they almost felt like pincers when I first put them on. I did some adjusting and I was able to wear them for a couple hours. Some smaller users, especially women, might just find these are a tad heavy to wear comfortably for long periods of time. Also, if you're in warm temps, the over the ear style means your ears might sweat with the headset pads covering them.

I have a rather large head and am overall a bigger person, so the weight of these doesn't bother me. However, if you are smaller I could see them being a little awkward to have on for an extended period of time. The battery life on these is phenomenal. Boasting up to 50 hours on a full charge and claiming that full charge can be reached within a very short amount of time. This makes these perfect for both casual and work purposes. As for sound quality, the main issue at hand when discussing headphones at this price point, I was thoroughly impressed. I had been using much cheaper over-ear headphones up until now and was convinced the difference wouldn't be worth the money, but I was wrong. I tested it with various rips of MP3s in various qualities and was amazed at how crisp and clear the music was. When compared to my older pair of headphones, it felt as though I was missing a good part of the mix and the older pair sounds muffled overall. The included aspect of having an EQ to mess with on the JBL app is a very nice feature. I have spent a lot of time making custom EQ presets for various genres of music. However, the added "DJ Signature" presets are mostly a gimmick. I would write them off completely were it not for the preset "Tigerlilly" actually being fairly good. If someone doesn't want to spend the time messing with the EQ and finding a nice mix for themselves, my recommendation is to simply put it on that preset and never mess with it again.Something about these headphones that I did not expect is that they can be used as a gaming headset. Using the in-line mic aux cord, I was able to connect them to my Playstation 4 and use them for party chat, as well as a much higher quality audio experience than the headset I used before. They even are capable of using a "Headphones 3D audio" setting that is available on a lot of current games. This added a nice level of immersion I wasn't getting from my prior headset.Overall, I can say with certainty that if you are in the market for an upgrade and this price point fits your budget, you should certainly pick these up. The added Signature DJ EQ settings are certainly gimmicky, but luckily they make up for that in all other aspects and it doesn't feel like the price point was padded too much to include those presets.
