I bought this and discovered it smells like just ground up crickets. Not sure what else is in it. The instructions said to mix with mince, and I did so. The birds were reluctant, but eventually took it. however, when I increases the quantity, butcherbirds flatly refused to take it. Magpies also walked away. The small and taste are unappealing to birds. I will continue to add it to mince, but by a smaller amount. Given that there is nothing else around, I will use it. But something in the processing definitely isn't good. I can't imagine anything but a starving bird eating this mixed with water and made into shapes.

Bought a packet of this some time ago and still have most of it. None of the birds would touch it. Magpies, Currawongs, Butcher Birds, not even the Noisy Miners who normally eat anything would go near it. I thought they must all be spoilt with what we normally put out for them.

Great product that we purchased, I mix it in generously with good quality low fat beef mince, our wild pet Magpies that come in our back yard love it.
