I have a mixer tap that was leaking, and the skirt holding it together was smooth and chromed and I couldn't turn it with an adjustable wrench. Once I got this strap wrench, I took off the skirt, cleaned out the tap, put it all back together and haven't had a problem since.

I had to remove under-sink water filter housings without the (lost) spanner. I could not find another spanner on line to fit my housings. This product did the job very well and saved the day. It may not be as robust as it could be, but this is reflected in the price. For me it was very good value for money.

Works great on plastic nuts under sink.They are also great to undo lids when you get two.
I was able to use it on the hot water bathroom tap flange no problem.However the cold water tap flange is stuck rigid, and the strap wrench rubber wouldn't grip and also kept popping out, causing plenty of frustration. I'm now going to invest in a pipe wrench & some CLR & duct tape. I'm replacing the flange so don't care about scratching it.
I bought this from Bunnings Mernda to take the cover off a water pump filter housing. The strap snapped immediately and under very little force and now I need to make another visit to the store to replace it. Save your time and money and avoid this product.
I bought this to undo a stuck, bell-shaped tap bonnet. When tightened on the bonnet surface, the strap constantly slipped. I also tried the smaller, 100mm Heron strap wrench but it also slipped.Will call in a plumber.
