I have been buying Harlem school shoes for 3 years. They are durable, last the whole year and the velcro on the strap is very strong. My children tell me they are comfortable too. They also have a removable growth insole.

This is the second year that I bought this shoes. Last one lasted the whole year which is amazing considering my son went through 3 pairs previous year! It pays to pay more for the quality and durability.
Great shoe for my preppy. No complaints about pain. Looks really classy and not bulky at all. He is between a size 12 and 1 so I went with the 1 and it's got room for growth but not loose that his foot slips out. Worth the investment!
