Hasegawa 1/72 F-35A Lightning II Model Kit

This kit is an entirely new tooling, finally replacing Hasegawa's 1972 Emily! Hasegawa has designed this kit using the latest in digital technology to ensure accurate detail inside and out. And don't forget the photo-etched detail kit to add even more realism to your build! Parts come molded in gray. Includes clear parts and decals.Historical information from the Hasegawa website:Nicknamed "Emily" by the Allies, the Kawanishi H8K2 was first developed in June of 1943. The H8K2 boasted many advantages over the H8K1, most notably Mitsubishi MK4Q engines and an upgraded tail gun turret. Later versions lacked side gun blisters; these featured Air-to-Surface-Vessel search radar. These improvements helped make the H8K2 a favorite with pilots in the IJN. Its heavy bomb load, long range, and radar made it an effective anti-sub and patrol aircraft. Only four survived the war.

Although a good kit it should have an open weapons bay and weapons to put on this kit . I think it would make this kit more appealing!

Outstanding model of the aircraft and amazing detailed decals. Best F-35A model available but you will need to add weapons if you want it in "beast mode".
