I bought this shampoo conditioner on a whim from Walmart because it was cheap and I just started loosing large amounts of my hair due to stress induced alopecia. It’s only $5.95 at my Walmart and it’s worked so well for me. This is still my go to shampoo. It lathers very well so I only need about a quarter size amount to wash my hair, and even though I’ve lost a lot of hair, I do have long and fuller hair. It’s scent different. It has a more orangey citrusy smell. It’s very clean. I like it. I would definitely recommend anyone who has thinning hair to give it a try. It’s under $6 and I promise you’ll love it too!

Allergic Reaction

I bought this product 1/26/23. After a week, I noticed my face was breaking out and was extremely dry. I thought maybe it was the cold weather change because my face has become dry from the temperature change below. I used this shampoo maybe every third day. My facial skin would go back and forth from breaking out. I finally made an appointment with my dermatologist because I couldn’t stand how bad my face got. She said I’m having an allergic reaction to something I’m using. I never thought about the shampoo because I’m a product junkie and always trying new products. I’ve never once broke out from a shampoo. This is a first. It got to the point wearing makeup looked horrible and I was in tears at night after washing my face. Been using for 8 months and LOVE

I have had thinning hair since I was in grad school. It has only gotten worse each year. Last summer I decided to change up my hair products, including shampoo, conditioner, and all curl products. I started with the conditioner on my scalp and another on my ends (for more moisture and good for curly hair). It seems to help with thickening and my little hair growth I had on my top scalp was falling out less when styling. So I introduced this shampoo. Even thicker! I went to get my hair cut and even my stylist (who I only see like twice a year) noticed the difference this shampoo/conditioner was making! I also changed curl styling products to some that don't weigh my hair down as much. Also, I can't speak to the smell, it takes a lot for a smell to bother me and neither of these do. Maybe reviewers who don't like it have fine/thin/straight hair, but it works really well for my thin/coarse/curly hair (3C curl type).

Do not use this...trust me.

At first this shampoo (and conditioner) felt amazing and I enjoyed the smell because it reminded me of a cruise spa. However, after months of using it my hair started falling out in clumps. I thought it was stress but then I realized it may have been the shampoo. I googled online for others experience and yup, it seems that this shampoo causes hair loss. Not for everyone….But I guess I’m *lucky* I would not recommend this shampoo because dealing with hair loss is no fun and no one should have to go through these emotions of finding clumps of hair and every time something brushes against my hair more and more strands come out. It’s devastating… I hope I can fix this. On top of all that, my scalp is itchy and flaky!

Don't base your hair health on scents people.

Only used once but I like it already! Price= great. Lather= phenomenal. Smell= clean! People are so overly dramatic lol no it does not smell like roses. But neither do salon quality products. It may smell “manlier” than most women’s shampoos, but it smells clean (which is far more important to me than smelling like a teenage girl who just poured perfume all over her hair). I cannot speak on the “thickening” power of this yet as it has only been one wash. I did lose some hair in the shower, but it may have been residual from my previous shampoo. All in all, you can’t go wrong for the price!

Hair loss

My hair was thickening, shiny, etc. The last few bottles smelled more like chemicals than that initial bottle, and I noticed that my hair has steadily become very dry and started to fall out over the last 6 months. There was a few days worth of hair in my brush after brushing once. It really freaked me out. I didn't want to blame this conditioner, but when I stopped using it for a single shower, there was a drastic difference in my hair, so I think this conditioner is probably involved. I love Hask products and will return to using the Argan Oil conditioner as well as their hair oils and masks. I won't buy this again-

Love the dry shampoo and thought I would try this since I was looking for something less expensive. When I wash- I cannot get it through my hair easily. After I rinse, there are so many tangles and it feels very brittle. Trying to comb it- I loose so much hair. It does feel thicker once I blow dry which I do like. The smell is extremely strong and lasts through the day. But does give me a headache at times. I could probably deal with the smell since I did like the feeling of the thickness- but the tangles are too much for me to deal with.

Kinda amazing

This shampoo smells so dang good. Like a warm cozy home.!! This is what you’d want your whole body to smell like.! Your house your car your office. It smells dang good!!!The lather is amazing a little goes along way!!!Only down fall is my darn scalp breaks out to this shampoo.! I hate it! Because I really enjoy using this stuff.! Leaves my hair smelling just amazing. Can’t even explain it!So I use it as a body wash with no issues and every few weeks for my hair as my scalp can only handle it every now and then. Would definitely recommend!!!

New Favorite Shampoo!

Hands down, I think this is the best smelling shampoo - it's like an incense or candle shop! I just love it. Spicy and warm with notes of clove, cinnamon, and maybe sandalwood. It's just exotic and lovely and lingers for hours after you wash. The shampoo lathers really nicely and I find I use less than I normally would with other shampoos because of this. My hair actually DOES feel and look thicker after using this and the conditioner. I struggle with hair loss from lupus and medication so this is helping to pump up my locks while new hair grows in. I just love it so much.

Slowed hair shedding

I suddenly had terrible shedding. Then I started using this shampoo. As others have mentioned, it’s drying. So, I can see why some people may have experienced hair loss, but my shedding has slowed. I’ve been using this shampoo over a month paired with protein treatments (the treatments soften my hair), and my hair is in much better shape. I am not sure if I’ll purchase this again because I don’t like how it makes my hair feel, but, overall, the product isn’t bad. Oh, and it does smell like hemp.
