Inconsistent sizing - white too wide

I have these in black and they fit perfectly (bought 7/8 - usually wear 8 in sandals). I love them. I just bought them in white and the straps are longer, too long for my feet and in fact, seem too wide for the foot-bed. Havaianas has become inconsistent in sizing - I'd bought them for very many years and suddenly my usual size had much longer straps. I tried the black square last year and they fit very well as before (I was so happy!), but not the white ones I bought now. Can't wear them.

Slim Square Flip Flop

I purchased the slim square Havaiana flip flops in black from a Nordstrom store without trying them on. They fit true to size, and I love the comfort of all Havaiana flip flops!! I wish I had tried this particular style on before purchasing. They went from the store directly into my suitcase for a tropical vacation. They appear to look unique and a nice departure from the regular flip flop, but once the feet the square toe looked soooooo awkward on my feet! I suggest trying these on first. Knowing that I would never wear these again, I left mine under the seat of our vacation rental car. Good bye square toe!! I wish I had taken a photo to show you.

So cushy!!

I like a size 8 in flip flops even though I'm between a 7.5 and an 8 because I like a little extra room...these however (the 7/8) fit like a 7.5 in my opinion. However, they are so cushy and comfortable I can't bear to part with them! Keeping!!! Giving 4 stars because I feel like they are pretty basic for $34, atleast the square toe is different looking. If these were the basic round toe model, I would not pay full price for them. Sorry not sorry. They look like the grocery store ones for five bucks. Lol

overall bad fit

These are just overall weird. I sized up because my normal size felt too short in the toe box. I don’t have abnormally long toes lol but my toes are hanging over the top of these. But sizing up didn’t work because the straps are so loose. My husband thought I got these from a gas station when I tried them on haha and when I told him I didn’t he said, well the ones you got from the abc store in Hawaii are way better. I 100% agree. Would never spend $40 on these.
