It cooked Christmas pudding X 2 so its OK so far!! It could have been slightly more shallow and wider, the plastic ring onto as a seal will cause some problems sooner rather than later.

A littler smaller than anticipated but adequate for small meals for 2. We will probably use it mainly in our caravan. Not keen on the way the pressure weight valve works. It lets of steam in large bursts. With the older Hawkins Pressure Cooker the weight would gently rock to maintain the desired pressure. You would not want to be cooking something else on the stove top when it lets off a burst of steam. I feel that it has the potential to scald the user in this instance.
Hawkins is a well established brand. I'm totally satisfied by the product.
Seems like a very good pressure cooker, small but perfect for a small family, I like the idea that the lid can't blow off because it fits inside the cooker and not outside, so this makes it so much better.
