I forget I’m wearing it when I’m sparring, whereas others become cumbersome and annoying during sparring sessions.Only complaint would be the Velcro strap is a little uncomfortable and scratchy underneath the chin, but you quickly forget about it once sparring.

When my 8 year old first started boxing I wanted to make sure he was a safe as possible and his head protected. I watched and read many, many reviews. I finally decided on this one from Hayabusa. While waiting for his head gear to be delivered he wore another brand while sparring. It was awful, the head gear was all over the place, blocking his vision and a nuisance. The following week, with his Hayabusa headgear, it was a completely different story. He did amazing and really showed his skills, and I felt good feeling he was properly protected.
Never have liked headgear, because of the feeling of suffocation and constant movement… All things, considering a very pleased with the way these fit and stay in place without giving you that feeling of being smothered
I’m a big fan of the brand. I’m not talking only about great design but also amazing quality. Five FULL stars FOR Hayabusa! I wish they can have another special sale during the year like Black Friday.
Great product fits perfect once you adjust it, it slides on and sits still no matter how hard you’re sparring. Great protection, and insanely light weight compared to most competitors that I’ve tried. And as always the trademark Hayabusa quality, tough as nails, ready to train.
I bought the large, it is a bit big but offers very good protection and fits on the head.
