I've played with it twice as I get used to a new racquet and so far the racquet seems to be an improvement. I seem to be able to better control my shots. My only complaint is I paid $4.99 to have the Head logo painted on the strings and after three hours of play it is almost gone do what a waste of money.

This is a very forgiving racket - lets you still direct the ball, even when hitting a bit late/behind you. It’s as close to point and shoot as you can get for a 16x19, but gives good access to topspin if you need. Flexible enough that it doesn’t bother my elbow, even when strung with a full bed of co-poly, and I don’t use a dampener. Head light so it whips through the air fast. Solid on groundstrokes - you might get pushed around a bit on volleys against heavy hitters. Might put a touch of weight at the top of the grip to help, but want to keep it head light. Great stick! Fantastic price! Don’t need to get the new version. Strung with Weiss Canon Ultra Cable 17g at 51 lbs in the mains and Tour Bite 17g in the crosses also at 51lbs

This one feels like pro staff but only more consistent and quick. Over years, I played with rf97, speed pro, ezone DR98 and pure strike. But this version of radical MP is my love.

Bump on the grip and small peel on the paint.
24 December 2022

It came with two small peels on its paint (i assume it was pressed by something sharp at their storage) and the grip part also has a small bump. I really like this racket, but I'm really disappointed with the quality of the product that I received. I also own one gravity mp and 2 gravity pros but those rackets didn't have any issues like this. I didn't return it and just decided to use it as it is because I bought them at 149$ but I would have returned them if I have bought them at a full price. I like Head rackets, but this purchase was not as satisfying.

Does everything well!
24 September 2021

I love this racquet! My not be for everyone but what racquet is. As I’ve aged I’ve looked for a racquet with a little more power. Tried the Pure Drive 2021 and liked it but gave me some arm/elbow/shoulder pain. Tried the Yonex Ezone 98 and liked it but didn’t feel as connected to the ball as I do with the Radical. Have always love the Prestige line but needed a lighter racquet. Never liked the Radicals until this version. Good power, feel, control, etc. It has it all. Give it a try!

Excellent frame for an intermediate or advanced all court player

Racquet is very accurate, stable yet maneuverable. Serving with it is great. Great precision and feel. Good spin, good power.Similar but more comfortable than Pure Strike 98 and more powerful , better spin and similarly precise as Blade 98.Highly recommended.

Head radicals are amazing
15 October 2021

I am playing with Radical rackets since beginning of the graphite line. I loved the paint design of all radicals, especially the XT line had amazing graphics.I have demo'd this racket and the specs are amazing! It really feels good quick, fast and manuveraable. One of the best all round rackets I've played with!.However the colour is just tooooo much in my opninion. This is the reason why i would not buy this racket for myself. If you like the colours and want an allround racket go for it!

Made the right choice

I am a 36 y/o male, who has played tennis mostly casually over the past 18-ish years, but I have recently started playing competitively in local ladder and league formats. While I've always played and liked Head racquets in the past, this is the first serious racquet I've purchased, all my others have been more affordable sporting-goods store pre-strung versions. I demoed this racquet along with a Wilson Ultra 100L and Head Gravity S, and this new Radical S won me over easily. From the first time I picked the demo up out of the box, it immediately felt natural and comfortable in my hand. For me, the weight is perfect, as I prefer a slightly lighter racquet to play with than most probably do. The head size, while 102 sq in, feels perfect. I also prefer a slightly head-light racquet and the Radical S is perfect in that regard as well. I ordered the racquet and had it strung with Head Velocity MLT 16 ga. strings at 53 lb. tension, which seems to be just fine. Had just a little trouble at the net in doubles the very first time I played with it, but that has improved substantially as I've played more and the strings have loosened a little. All-in-all, after lots of research online and demoing, I couldn't be happier with my choice and would highly recommend it to any players that find themselves to be similar to me.

Not the same MP
3 July 2023

I played the Radical Pro several years ago but ended up developing shoulder problems. I switched to the MP and found it brilliant. Lots of spin and pop to the racquet and no shoulder or wrist problems. I bought the new MP hoping for a fresh update on a great design but was surprised to find the new model to be heavier, sluggish, and more like the Radical Pro. My fault for not comparing specs I suppose. For me, this was not a great replacement.

This is greatest one!
7 March 2022

I just recently switched to this racquet.I prefer racquets that have a high surface stiffness and grip due to string hold. Before this I was using a 100inch power racquet from another manufacturer. This racquet performed well in terms of overall power, control, spin, and ease of handling, not unlike a 98inch thin racquet.
