Head updates the Speed S with a new name and better feel but keeps the outstanding playability of the previous generation. Named the Speed Team 2022, this stick puts the phenomenal precision and outstanding feel of the Speed MP into a lighter, faster package. Weighted for intermediate players, this 10.5 ounce racquet comes around very fast, making it easier for improving players to whip up spin or hit effective shots on the run. The quick handling continues at net where the Speed Team will help you spring into action when opportunity knocks. It also plays with above average stability thanks in part to its thick 25mm beam. For 2022, Head keeps Graphene 360+ (called Graphene inside) which combines the stability and power of Graphene 360 with SpiralFibers in the lower head for a cleaner feel at impact. Head also adds a uniquely flexible Auxetic construction in the yoke, which calibrates ball feedback to stroke speed and impact location. All in all, the Speed Team 2022 is simply a great option for the rising intermediate player who wants a great feeling racquet with seductive levels of speed and accuracy.

Racquet is excellent in most respects, however supplied with loose buttcap and protruding staples which retailer (Att Things Tennis) hasn't agreed to replace

It looks and feels really nice. It’s just that I’ve not used it yet. Still hoping for the best.

Pricing was great and the racquets arrived faster than expected. I would definitely look to buy directly from Head again in the future.

I picked up tennis over 3 months ago (played a little as a kid) and demo'd a few rackets. I love this racket. Great for a beginner moving up to advanced beginner. It's light and it feels like I have control over the ball. Super happy with this purchase and speedy delivery from HEAD.
It’s a great feel good on contact swings through the air very quick and weepy it’s my favourite raquet right now I notice the ball come off the raquet a quick pace specially of my back hand
I‘ve purchased 2 for my 10 year old son, who’s an advanced player for his age. He‘s very happy about it. I did use the racquet myself while playing with him (I used to be competitive teenage tennis player myself) and loved it too. The racquet is very stable ( despite of it‘s light weight), has good power and a great control, specially on the baseline. It‘s easy on the arm and has a good feeling.
3.5 player. Played with a Pro Staff 97L for 2 years prior to this. I feel like I missed out by not switching sooner. Balls are more easily going deeper in the court and it has a great sweet spot. More control all over the court and it looks sharp.
Really great racket, the grip feels great, Swinging it feels amazing. Only downfall is the grip gets dirty quite quick. But what do you expect it’s white.
This is my second Speed Team L 2022 purchase. I really like the feel and weight of this racquet.
This was a horrible shopping experience for me. After I ordered, I waited for three weeks as the status of my purchase was stuck in "in progress". Then it took two phone calls to hear back from the CS that the racquet was out of stock and my order needed to be cancelled. No apologies or compensation for wasting my time and me not buying another racquet in those 3 weeks. Now can't trust what's in stock or not if and when I order an item from TE.
