Fantastic hold - doesn't work if you constantly touch your hair. Definitely a matte product, but hair shouldn't be wet, or too dry before using it. Would recommend for the price and the promise of the description.

Does what it says. It's got a clay-like dry texture and a little scoop gives a pretty good hold and leaves hair looking matte with no sheen. Shampoos off pretty easily.
