I love these t-shirts for both crafting & just wearing. They take both HTV and paint like a champ when pre-washed without additives (like liquid fabric softener, etc.)... My husband loves them as well for everyday wear without any embellishments. He tends to be hard on his t-shirts with extra food drips and general dirt & grease from everyday life. They wash well and don't tend to hold on to most stains when they're pre-treated correctly. Plus at $2.99 per shirt, they're not a problem to replace for him when they get too far gone. WAY easier on the budget than trying to get shirts at the big box retailers! We love these things!!

I went on a reverse tie dye binge, fascinated by the colors and patterns I could make with bleach. So far, I have tried black, Heather green, green, purple, Grey, safety pink, and safety orange. Black turned orange, Heather Green turned tan, green turned a little lighter green, and purple turned pink. The grey and afety colors didn't bleach at all. I completely submerged them for 20 minutes and they didn't budge. I got so desperate (even though I thought it would ruin them) that I poured straight bleach directly on them and waited 10 more minutes. Nothing. See? Interesting. Anyway, the shirts held up really well to the abuse. And, I've never had any issues tie dyeing the normal way with any colors of these shirts. I'm posting 2 pics. When it comes to black color in shirts, a lot of other brands do not compare to looking black at all! These shirts are great color, hold up to transfers, look good, and last long.I use HTV and my customers love the look, the feel and the fact that they hold up during washing and drying. I always recommend they wash inside out, light fluff dry and air dry the rest of the way. The shirts look great, feel great, wash great, hold up great, and allow me to provide a great product.Only thing more to say is getting online and ordering from Michael’s and having ready within the hour to go pick up while my machine is creating my transfers, does not stop my work progress. Love the ease of online shopping, curbside pick up, product availability and happy customers.

It's not easy to find a wide variety of colors in clothes at regular department stores anymore, but I went to Michael's one day to look for another item and ended up in an isle filled with heavy duty T-shirts in a wide variety of beautiful colors. What was also wonderful is that they were low priced ($2.99) but high quality. That's the opposite of most stores nowadays. I grabbed up a heather grey, heather sapphire, and daisy yellow. The shirts run large, so if you normally wear an extra large, a large will likely fit well. I plan to check out the T-shirt section anytime I go to Michael's now to see if they any new colors I can add to my collection!
Shirts arrived with balls all over them, for both sizes. They were very wrinkly and appeared used. Th shirts were very thin, which differed significantly from the same Gildan product I purchased in Walmart stores. We ended up going to a local Walmart and just purchasing two additional shirts from the sizes they did have in stock. I am very disappointed with the quality of the products of what I was sent. It did not match what was advertised on Walmart’s app, or even the same product from Walmart. I plan to return and receive a refund.
I ordered 2 sleeveless shirts of my favorite band, and I couldn't be more amped over how they came out.The ordering process was smooth and allowed me to upload my own designs. After I placed the order they reached out to me to show me how the designer had modified the images so that they would blend seamlessly into the color shirt I had chosen, and how it would fit on the shirt.I actually got the shirts several weeks ago and I've been wearing them a lot. Every time I do I have the thought that I should email them to let them know how good of a job the designer did, but I procrastinate and forget things with incredible efficiency. Needless to say, I'm wearing one now, and was admiring it and here I am.Not uploading a Pic bc I'm dealing with a stomach bug and I ... MoreI ordered 2 sleeveless shirts of my favorite band, and I couldn't be more amped over how they came out.The ordering process was smooth and allowed me to upload my own designs. Don't really need to though because the image is exactly what I wanted plus they adapted it to the shirt perfectly.Wasn't intending to do a review. Just a thank you. So whoever handles the website please thank the people who worked on my shirts. Their hardwork was not taken for granted!
My daughter sent me a text for needing a green shirt by a Friday on Wednesday. Sent me a link to Amazon with this shirt (cost 13.99 and shipping of course) The shirt would have cost me 25 dollars just for her to cut it up to use ONE time... So, I know that Michaels has the Gildan brand shirts in mostly all colors...I found the same shirt for a much lower price and saved myself time and stress. Thank you for being available in a tight pinch. I have always used this store for crafts such as candle making, yard, framing and whatever arts supplies I need on demand. They even have baking related stock for making candies or boxes for cookies/cakes/cupcakes! One stop shopping close to home.
Not great quality. When I got them there were threads hanging from the seams, when I held it up to the light I could see how loose the weave was, the texture was fuzzy, and the shirts are rough and weirdly inflexible. It says 100 percent cotton but I'm not sure. The tags say Gildan 5000s but they can't be the same Gildan 5000s that people use for their print-on-demand merchandise. But they were 2.79 each so I guess that means you don't have to provide a wearable shirt. I thought about returning them but I guess I can use some as guinea pigs for my designs and test the others to see how long they last before wearing out (they're kind of already worn out in my opinion). I bought probably five different colors and would say they are all about the same quality; bad.
I use this brand for most of my crafting projects. The thickness and great quality works for me. I shop at Michaels although I can get the same shirt from other vendors because they are well kept, meaning folded and in size order and color. It's easy to find them in the store and they have plenty. I like that they constantly have them on sale, not the best but at least it's not the full price. Again, the store is better for my needs. I do wish however they would sell a soft pink color verses the hot pink. They have it in children's size but not adult.
This is a good basic t-shirt, fabric has a good weight to it, not thin and flimsy. The black color t-shirt I bought is 100% cotton. They come in a number of other colors, but depending on the color, some are a cotton/polyester blend. Personally, I prefer all cotton. You don't have to actually make anything with this t-shirt, just wear it as is. Wash it first, of course. Plus, I was able to get it for a good price. It was on sale and I was able to use a 25% off coupon on top of that. If it was a pocket t-shirt it would be even better. But it doesn't have a pocket. It's just a plain t-shirt. I'm not complaining though. You can't have everything.
