[This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] I can't say this is a product we would normally buy. First of all, the product is made in New Zealand, I have no idea where the ingredients came from. In addition, we are quite happy for baked bean to be in the typical tomato sauce. This size of can is good for a single serve of meals. The ham sauce is nothing I'll write home about. It appears to have a slightly smoky flavour but I struggle to distinguish it from the normal tomato sauce flavour of our preferred brand of baked beans. Otherwise, it is typical baked beans. I believe the price is the same as the classical tomato sauce variety, I certainly would not pay extra for this flavour.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] I have to admit, I had already made judgement about the product before even tasting it. All I could picture was spam ham flavour. Surprisingly when I tried it, it was actually delicious. My son loved it too!It tastes like smokey baked beans and the ham flavour was as pronounced as I thought. The texture felt the same & the sauce consistency is a little thicker than regular baked beans. The only thing I wasn't a fan of is that I found it to be quite salty. I would definitely be considering purchasing this product again in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] We enjoyed the Heinz Baked Beanz in Ham sauce both cold and also heated in the saucepan. I enjoyed it cold as a quick snack. We heated it on the stove and I also enjoyed the softness of the beans with my eggs. On a low heat it was a nice side to my eggs. It was not too salty, and I added extra salt to my dish. In terms of the ham sauce, I could not taste anything distinctly different to the original tomato sauce. Overall I enjoyed eating the beans. Same baked beans I would always expect from Heinz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] I haven't eaten baked beans in years. In my mind I had an image that I did not like them. I tried the baked beans on toast for breakfast. I was pleasantly surprised that I truly enjoyed, to the extent that I will buy more of the product in the future. The taste had a hint of ham flavour; not too much. The list of ingredients showed some (small amount) of ham in the product. Overall texture was good, the beans tasted good, the sauce also tasted good. The can was slightly difficult to open.

I recently tried the "No Added Sugar Baked Beans," and I must say, they exceeded my expectations in every way. The flavor was remarkable – rich, savory, and not overly sweet, allowing the natural goodness of the beans to shine through. What impressed me most is the commitment to quality ingredients, with no added sugar or artificial additives. It's a wholesome choice that aligns with a healthy lifestyle. Plus, the value is excellent, offering a guilt-free and budget-friendly option for those who want nutritious and delicious baked beans. These beans have become a staple in my pantry, and I highly recommend them!

I like the thought of No sugar!

I found this product was readily available and my local grocer had many in stock.I used the baked beans heated up on toast for myself and my two year old daughter breakfast.Never having baked beans before my daughter was confused by these little oval shaped beans on her toast. We began eating and much to my surprise, she liked them and ended up using her fingers to pick off the smooth and tasty beans from her toastI have always prefer tinned spaghetti but me myself didn't mind these beans on my toast for a change. Didn't find them to dry and quite enjoyed the mild taste of the baked beans. Any cut in sugar is brilliant in my eyes.

Just read the blurb on this. States several times in the blurb that there are (absolutely?) no sweeteners but obviously - look again - it says that the tomato sauce has sweeteners. Bloomin' ridiculous - you don't get the beans without the sauce so what's this all about. I'm actually rather annoyed reading it. I used to buy this product without having read the description but doubt very much that I'll be buying it again. I think this is very poor marketing, bordering on the dishonest and at the very least misleading.

Pretty good, just baked beans really.

Had some with toast for breakfast, can’t complain about the overall taste. That being said, nothing really stood out about them, I couldn’t confidently say they’re superior to other (cheaper) brands. There is nothing much else to add regarding the taste, except it didn’t distinctly taste like tomato sauce necessarily, and I probably wouldn’t want it to. Texture is as it should be for good baked beans, tender but with a little texture to bite into. I would happily eat these again, but given the price discrepancy, would likely buy cheaper brands unless this was on a solid special.

as tasty as the original

I tried the Heinz no added sugar baled beans and I was pleasantly surprised by the taste. As someone who is trying to cut down on added sugars, I was worried that the beans would be too bland or not as flavorful as the original. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the beans were just as tasty as the original version. The beans are also very convenient to use as they come in a can and can be easily heated up in the microwave or on the stove. The no added sugar version is a great alternative for those who are trying to watch their sugar intake but still want to enjoy the classic taste of baked beans.Overall, I highly recommend Heinz No Added Sugar Baked Beans to anyone looking for a tasty, convenient, and healthier alternative to traditional baked beans
